"Because I saw you with another woman tonight!" Hera shouted.

He smirked. "Jealous.. Are we?"

"Jealous?" she huffed. "I'm more curious, dear husband. Why marry me when you'd someone else? Oh wait she's married. Right?" she mocked him but it didn't faze him a bit.

He still had that smug look on his face. "I married you.. Maybe because you've got a nice body?"

Hera woke up with a start and her hand reached out to her eyes which were filled with tears. She bit her lip as more tears brimmed in her eyes and she remembered that small piece of her memory over and over again.

So, this was his love? He had another woman in his life.

"I'm a fool to trust him," she huffed out a breath and wiped her cheek. "I'm a fool," she sobbed and ran a hand through her messy hair. "I hate you. I hate you."

"Hera?" A soft knock on the door startled her and she immediately removed any trace of tears from her face. She needed to keep the facade going on to know the truth. She would have to wait for him to confess all of this.

"I'll be out in minutes," she replied back, face palming. She had no idea what their relationship was like, and these pieces of memories were confusing her more than ever.

"I made breakfast. Hurry up," Baekhyun told her as he stepped back from the door and went to the kitchen. Dining table was set according to her and he hoped she would notice his efforts. Interesting. Wasn't it?

He was trying to impress his own wife.

"You know how to cook?"

He spun around to see Hera coming downstairs, her hair still wet and face shining. Beautiful was the only word he could think of. She raised her brows when he didn't reply and he cleared his throat awkwardly.

"Yeah," he mumbled as she walked to him. "You taught me cooking," he said, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"Uh-oh?" she seemed to be lost in a thought. "That's.. romantic," she said as he pulled out a chair for her. She took her seat on the dining table and he smiled before sitting on the opposite side.

"Bab—Hera," Baekhyun corrected himself midway. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. She looked up to him. "Did you sleep well?"

She pursued her lips in a thin line and stared at him. No. "Yes. I slept well," she replied and started digging her food.

He noticed the shift in her mood and bit back his words as he concentrated on food too. He knew he needed to be careful with her and patient. He stole glances from her time to time but lowered his eyes when she caught his gaze.

"Is there something on my face?" she asked, confused but he shook his head and chuckled.

"No... it's just that it is the first time we have this kind of silent breakfast. Most of the time we are bickering over matters," he bit his lip hard and she averted her gaze to the other side.
