Since Sehun wasn't here today, I decided to have lunch in the library. I was a bit lonely, but I guess it's nice to have some alone time every once in a while. I scan the shelf, looking for an imaginary adventure to immerse myself in when something catches my eye; a very large brown book that looks kind of old and because it's behind the other books, seems like someone wanted to hide it. I stand on the tips of my toes to move the other books out of the way and take it down from the shelf. I then sit down in a soft chair and place the book in my lap. Getting a closer look at it, I can see that it really is old, with it's worn cover and yellowish pages and the smudged title on the front, which looks like it's supposed to say "History". Unable to contain my curiosity anymore, I flip it open and begin reading.

There exists three worlds: the human world, the vampire world, and Doradovania, the world in which vampires and humans co-exist. Our story takes place in the latter. It all starts with the Black Pearl. It is made of two parts, the pure half and the dark half. The pure half ensures peace and brings good luck—

Huh, this kinda reminds me of the story that papà told me about my necklace when I was little, about how it's "magic" and "lucky".

"ARRRRRGGGHH!!" I yelp and clutch my head as a sharp pain passes through my temples. Weird, I've never had this happen to me when I read before. Maybe I just need glasses? Although a bit dazed, I shake it off and continue reading.
