"Daddy! Please hurry up!"
The young girl whined.
"Just one second Jang-mi! I didn't pack your lunch box!"
His daughter giggled.
"Silly daddy! You always forget that!"
The young man ruffled his daughter's hair.
"Then I got lucky to have such a smart daughter to remind me."
The small girl grinned.
"Let's go, Jang-mi. I'm ready."
Jungkook grabbed his keys and opened the door. He looked behind himself to see Jang-mi standing at the same spot, arms on her hips.

Jungkook chuckled.
"What's wrong, sweetie?"
Jang-mi sighed.
"Daddy, you forgot my backpack with the lunch box in it."
Jungkook's eyes widened.
"Oh shoot! Thank you Jang-mi!"
He kissed her forehead.
"What would you do without me daddy?"
Jungkook laughed.

They arrived at the playground a few minutes later. Jang-mi of course whining about how long it took to get there. As soon as she saw the playground, she ran towards it totally forgetting about her daddy.
"Slow down Jang-mi! Daddy is not so fast like you!"
"But daddy! You walk slower than a snail!"
"That's not true!"
Unintentionally, a pout formed on his lips. He sprinted towards Jang-mi, the said one screaming as her daddy approached her with fast steps.

They ran around unitl Jang-mi disappeared into the playhouse at the playground.
"Now you can't catch me daddy!"
"Is that so?"
He was interrupted by a elderly woman.
"Can you keep it down?! Some people are trying to relax here!"
Jungkook bowed to the woman.
"I'm sorry, miss."
She scoffed.
"Your wife should teach your daughter how to behave in public."
Jungkook gulped.

"Again, I'm sorry."
He picked Jang-mi up, who had tears in her eyes.
"You're a meanie! Daddy's a nice guy!"
Jungkook shushed her.
"Don't say that, sweetie."
The woman had a shocked look on her face.
"Show some respect to your elders!"
"I'm sorry, but don't talk to my daughter like that."
Jungkook quietly said.
They both left sitting far away from the woman on a picnic blanket. Jungkook couldn't help, but feel down.

Being a single dad in korea was never easy. People always expect the mum to go to the playground with the kids, giving him always weird looks. Always blaming him for making Jang-mi grow up without a mother. He sometimes wondered if Jang-mi would be happier growing up with her mother, the problem is: her mother didn't want her. And maybe it was all Jungkook's fault. If he just didn't tell his wife that he didn't love her anymore, or more likely he didn't prefer her...gender. Jang-mi could have had a normal family.

Even if he found someone...Jang-mi would never have a mum. That's why he decided to go on random blind dates, even though he's about to vomit when the women get to touchy with him. It's for Jang-mi.
"Daddy?"
"Hm?"
"Don't be sad. I don't want a mommy."
"Huh? Why?"
"Because my friends always say that you act like a mommy, so I don't need one. You're my mommy and my daddy!"
"But don't you want a real mommy, sweetie?"

"No, mommies are stupid. I asked my teacher if I can have two daddies instead and she said yes! I want another daddy!"
Jang-mi pouted, while Jungkook blushed.
"Y-you told your teacher that?"
"Yes, why not?"
"She laughed when I asked her, but I don't think that I said something funny."
Jungkook kissed her forehead.
"Daddy loves you."
"I love you too daddy, but I really have to pee!"

Jungkook sighed.
"Jang-mi, I told you to go before we left."
"But that was hours ago!"
"It was one hour ago."
Jungkook stood up from the blanket, packing all their things.
"Let's go home."
"No!"
"Jang-mi there is no toilet-"
"You promised me to get some ice cream!"
Jungkook sighed, looking around. He spotted a restaurant across the street.
"Fine. Let's go."

He picked Jang-mi up while crossing the street, the little girl squirming in his arms.
"Daddy, I really need to go."
Jungkook opened the door of tge restaurant, going straight to the toilets.
"Excuse me? Where do you think you're going?"
A tall man stopped them. He looked like the manager of this place.
"I'm sorry, but could my daughter go to the toilet here?"
The man scoffed.
"Does this place seem like a public restroom? She can go to the toilet if you actually eat here."

Jang-mi whined in Jungkook's arms.
"Please, I will pay."
A waitress came towards them.
"Come on, Taehyung. Let the girl go to the bathroom."
Taehyung sighed.
"Fine. 5 minutes."
Jungkook quickly rushed towards the restroom and then he noticed. There were only girls and boys restrooms. Normally there would be a family one, but not here.
"Jang-mi, sweetie, can you go to the restroom alone? Daddy is not allowed to go in there."

Jang-mi nodded, jumping from her dad's hold.
"I'm a big girl daddy. I can do this."
Jungkook waited in front of the door. A lot of women where leaving the restroom, but no Jang-mi. Jungkook grew worried.
"Jang-mi? Are you okay?"
He said from outside the door. Then he could hear small sobs.
"Jang-mi?!"
"D-daddy...I made an accident."
Shit.
Jungkook carefully opened the door and luckily no one was in there.

Jang-mi ran towards Jungkook, hugging him.
"Come on, sweetie. I have to change you really quick."
From experience Jungkook knew that there were no changing platforms in the boys restroom, so he had to change here there quickly. In no time he finished. Luckily he had brought spare clothes from home.
"See? Everything's okay now."
He picked Jang-mi up and in the exact same moment the door opened. A woman and Jungkook made eye contact. She quickly pushed Jungkook, screaming.

"A pervert!"
"N-no, you misunderstood I-"
"Get away you pervert! Help!"
The woman didn't even notice the small girl in Jungkook's arms. The door busted open, revealing the manager.
"What the hell are you doing in here?!"
You could clearly see that Taehyung was furious.
"I-I'm sorry, I was just-"
Taehyung grabbed him by his arm, pulling him out of the bathroom. Jang-mi started crying.

"P-please, you have to listen-"
"Using your own daughter for such perverted actions. I'm calling the police."
"W-what?! N-no! I was just-"
Jang-mi started crying louder.
"D-daddy's a g-good guy!"
She sobbed.
Taehyung was about to dial the number when the waitress rushed towards them.
"What is going on here?!"
"This guy was in the girls restroom!"
"What? Is that true?"
She looked at Jungkook.

"N-no! I mean yes I was in the w-womans restroom, but only because I-i had to change my daughter!"
"I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. You can go now."
The waitress said.
Jungkook nodded, holding his sobbing daughter tightly in his arms. He turned around and noticed all of the customers were staring at him. Some with pity, but mostly with disgust. Tears welled up in Jungkook's eyes.
"W-we can give you a meal if you want."

Taehyung said.
Jungkook scoffed.
"I-I'm fine, thank you."
He quickly rushed out of the restaurant, tears threatening to fall. They sat down on the bench across the restaurant, so Jungkook could collect himself.
"D-daddy? Why are you crying?"
Jungkook wiped away his tears.
"I'm not crying, sweat heart."
"Daddy, you told me that liars go to jail."

"Well, uhm-"
"Only if you don't apologize."
They both turned around to see Taehyung holding a box in his hands.
"What are you doing here?"
Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows.
"I wanted to apologize. We have cake, so I wanted to give you some."
He held the box in front of Jungkook, nervously biting his lips. Jungkook couldn't quite help, but stare at Taehyung. He really was handsome.
"T-thank you."
He accepted the cake, a small blush on his cheeks. Jang-mi gasped.

"Are you my daddy now?!"
Jungkook's cheeks literally inflamed.
"J-Jang-mi! Why would you say t-that?!"
Taehyung chuckled.
"Why do you think that, cutie?"
Taehyung asked Jang-mi. The small girl giggled.
"Daddy is blushing, so he likes you and you gave him a cake, so you like him too!"
Taehyung blinked.
"It doesn't work so easy like that."
Jungkook said.
"Why not?"

Jang-mi said.
Taehyung took out a marker, grabbing Jungkook's arm.
"Here."
"Wha- Why did you write your phone number on my arm?!"
Taehyung ignored Jungkook's question and kissed him in the cheek.
"I-I didn't give you permission to do that!"
Jungkook blushed.
"Well I guess we have to meet again, so I can apologize."
Taehyung winked before turning around, returning to his restaurant and leaving a flustered Jungkook.

"Daddy? Do you have a date?"
"How do you know what a date is, Jang-mi?"
Jang-mi shrugged.
"I watched barbie. Just tell uncle Jimin to come over."
"Huh? Why?"
"Daddy, you don't know how to dress up."
