ㅤ"hi everyone!" i said, while looking at the camera i was holding. i was sitting on the sofa in the waiting room of inkigayo, with chungha next to me. we had already performed, but we were waiting for everything to be over for the final stage with all the other artists where they would give the prize to the winners. "this is... xinyue" i added, putting my left arm in the air.

ㅤ"chungha" she said, putting her right arm behind my arm. "cross!" we said in unison. we had decided that would be our greeting, since we weren't creative enough to come up with another one.

ㅤ"we already performed, but we're waiting until we need to go out again" i said. i was recording a video for my fans which showed every backstage of the stages.

ㅤwe had been performing our comeback song all week. it was thursday and it was the second to last day of our promotions. even though it seemed like a short time, i had had a great time with chungha, plus it was the first time i was back on stage in a long time and met fans again.

ㅤduring the week i had been practicing with chungha, but i had also been working on other projects. one of them, the song for idol producer. i had recorded the demo version and had learned the choreography. we had also recorded a dance practice and i had appeared in it. as i had heard, they would show it to the trainees and i was looking forward to seeing their reactions when they saw me in the video and found out that i had produced the song.

ㅤon top of all that, i had used the week to improve and regulate my routine, as my last few weeks had been a disaster.

ㅤ"i hope you guys liked our comeback" chungha said then, looking at the camera.

ㅤ"of course they did" i joked.

ㅤ"right, what nonsense i said" she laughed. "look at my nails. they're beautiful" chungha added, showing her nails to the camera.

ㅤ"just like you"

ㅤshe looked at me and raised one of her eyebrows. i winked at her and then i started to laugh. "you also look gorgeous with your new hair" she said. "do you guys like it?" she added, taking one of my locks and showing it to the camera. "it's dyed and the bangs look great on her"

ㅤto tell the truth, i didn't want to change my hair again, but the stylists had said that since it was a comeback, it was the best and most eye-catching thing. in the videoclip i had put a wig on, but in the end i had decided to finally change my hair.

ㅤmy long brown hair without bangs had become something different. they had cut my hair a little below my shoulders and made bangs, although the bangs were thin. they had also dyed my hair a darker tone, but it still wasn't completely black.

ㅤ"i look great in anything" i teased her again.

ㅤ"chungha!" then a stylist called her. chungha looked up. "i need to fix your hair, can you please come?"

ㅤ"yes, of course" she answered and got up from the sofa to approach the stylist.

ㅤ"she abandoned me" i said, looking at the camera and making a sad face. "i'm maybe going to visit doyeon" i came up with that idea. "i think she's already performed, so she'll be free" i was about to get up from the sofa when the door to the room sounded, as someone was knocking on it.

ㅤa staff member came over and opened it and a tall guy, wearing a cap and a black mask came in. "hello" he said, bowing to everyone. he had a plastic bag in his right hand and a gray sweatshirt on. i knew as soon as i heard his voice who he was. he took off his mask and looked at me smiling. "hello, xinyue"
