ㅤyixing came through the door saying "yo yo yo" behind us after he finished talking to the trainees.

ㅤwe were all sitting on chairs, in front of a screen where six cameras could be seen recording different places. five of them recorded different rooms that corresponded to the different songs of the collaboration stage and the other one recorded the corridor. from there we could see the boys decide and enter each room one by one.

ㅤyixing had just explained to the boys how the collaboration stage worked and the order in which the trainees would choose the song blindly, without knowing which mentor corresponded to which song.

ㅤ"welcome" mc jin greeted yixing.

ㅤ"heeey!" i said. i was sitting in the corner, with jieqiong on my right and, after her, everyone else.

ㅤ"i definitely didn't come empty-handed" yixing told us, approaching us. "give me your hands"

ㅤ"what is this?" mc jin asked him once and yixing gave him something.

ㅤ"lip balm" he said. he was handing out one by one the lip balms while we thanked him.

ㅤ"oh, thank you" i thanked him, after he gave me one. i looked at it and then kept in in my sweatshirt pocket.

ㅤafter that, he sat next to cheng xiao and ronghao, right in the middle.

ㅤ"have you used it?" mc jin asked yixing.

ㅤ"of course not" yixing replied.

ㅤ"i don't want it then" mc jin said, making us laugh. "do you have a used one for me?"

ㅤ"that wouldn't be polite" yixing answered him.

ㅤ"you can say that to his fans" ronghao told mc jin. "that this is something used by him"

ㅤ"you could sell it for millions of yuans" i told him.

ㅤ"no, no" mc jin said. "this is not for his fans, it's for me. thank you" he said and yixing laughed again. "how is the trainees' condition?" mc jin asked him.

ㅤ"they're really relaxed right now" yixing replied and mc jin nodded relieved. "let's see who they choose" he added then, looking at the screen.

ㅤthe first one to choose was xukun. he appeared in the corridor walking quietly. we all knew who he would choose. it was clear.

ㅤ"cai xukun will definitely choose your room" ronghao told yixing and i agreed.

ㅤ"not necessarily" yixing replied.

ㅤ"definitely" ronghao, however, said.

ㅤ"cai xukun... he likes rap" yixing whispered.

ㅤ"he definitely won't choose ours" i told cheng xiao and jieqiong. "he will choose yixing's. i'm 100% sure"

ㅤxukun walked down the corridor quietly and opened one of the doors without much thought.

ㅤ"is he going to enter?" jieqiong asked surprised since he seemed really sure.

ㅤobviously, xukun entered the room of 'mask', yixing's song, and began to dance in the center of the room, which caused me tenderness.

ㅤ"welcome to pd zhang's room" jieqiong said. "we all guessed correctly" and everyone started clapping.

ㅤthen it was justin's turn to choose.

ㅤ"i feel like he it's going to be either teacher mc jin or pd zhang's" cheng xiao said while justin walked to the rooms.
