during one of the preparation games in the US today one of the guys got injured so he needs someone to fill in the midfield position during the copa america tournament. its really last minute but he wants me to go to chile with the seleccion.

the tournament is during the university's trip to germany. it'll be from june 11th to july 15th. and they want me to meet up with the national team tomorrow for some last minute training as soon as possible. so...they want me to travel tomorrow.

i don't know what to do. on the one side there's visiting u, which is all i've been wanting all year. but then there's my career. this could be my great debut with the seleccion. representing my country what i've wanted to do my whole life. my biggest dream is to wear the green mexico jersey on a national pitch. i know i'm also german, but all i've known is mexico. its where my heart lives and is truly happy.
