Their time in Gangneung passed quicker than either of them expected, on their first day after arriving they went to Hourglass park and the beach that was close to it, and on their second day, the two went to a historical park before visiting Gyeongpo Aquarium before visiting Gyeongpo beach.

Today was their third day in Gangneung, they woke up a little late into the morning, they changed into comfortable clothes after taking turns to shower and then ate breakfast at a diner that was close to their guesthouse.

For the day they decided to use public transportation, they took the bus to their first activity for the day which was ziplining, when they arrived at the place they waited in line after they paid while waiting Songyeon went to take photos whilst Youngjo was interviewing some people on their reasons to visit and also interviewed the owner of the place about the history of the place.

When they were done at the zipline they went to their next destination, it wasn't too far away so the two decided to take a walk instead, the closer they got the louder the crashing of the waves got, and before they knew it they arrived at Anmok beach.

It wasn't exactly busy but it wasn't completely deserted either, they set their things down and started wandering around the beach, they had Youngjo's camera with them, they walked around taking photos and every now and then they would interview some people.

As they were walking they saw an oldish couple, they were standing close to the ocean holding hands and they both looked deep in thought, at first the two were hesitant to approach them but in the end, they did.

"Hello" Youngjo greeted them, they turned to the two boys and greeted them with a smile.

"Hello, how can we help you boys," The man asked the two.

"If you don't mind can I ask you some questions? I write about travel for a magazine and I want to get some insight" Youngjo explained, the couples shared a look and smiled a little.

"Sure, we would love to help out," The lady said.

"Thank you, are you local or are you two visiting?"

"We are locals, we have lived here for about 30 years now," the man said.

"Okay then as locals do you come here often?"

"We do, especially every year on this exact day"

"What is the reason for that? If you don't mind sharing with us" Youngjo asked curiously.

"Well you see a few years ago, we were on this beach without son he was 5 back then, it was really busy that day and he ended up wandering off, we searched for him everywhere but we couldn't find him so when the police came to help and we still couldn't find him they just assumed that he might have gone into the water and the current pulled him out to see but they couldn't find him there either, they just accepted that he was dead, we come here every year on the exact day it happened in hopes of him to return," The lady said but she was still smiling.

"We never lose hope that he is still out there, we even uploaded his photo to an age progression site for kidnapped and adopted kids," the man said.

The two boys felt a little sorry for the couple, they can only imagine how they must've felt but yet they had so much hope that their son would return to them.

"What's his name? If we ever come across him" Songyeon said to the couple, it was his first words to them and when they turned their attention to him, they looked a bit surprised but they seemed to just shake it off and smiled at him a little.

"Kang Songyeon" the two boys looked at one another a little confused, causing the couple to wonder what they were thinking of.

"Can I maybe get your contact information, in case I do hear something?" Songyeon asked, holding out his phone.

They added both their numbers and they continued on with their interview.

They took a photo of the couple as thanks and then the couple offered to take a photo of them as well and they did.

The two said goodbye to the two and went back home, neither could shake the thought of the boy's name, it could be a consequence, there was definitely more than just one Songyeon in South Korea but the older couple's faces when they saw Songyeon made them curious.

When they arrived at their room they sat in silence a little.

"Okay! I can't take it, hyung can I use your laptop?" Songyeon said and the older jumped up almost immediately and grabbed his laptop and brought it over, he didn't even say anything he himself wanted answers his head was going crazy.

They sat on the sofa and immediately searched up the website the older couple mentioned and searched for the boy, and when they found him and checked the age progression photo they both just sat there, staring at it and neither could say anything they weren't sure what to say.

Songyeon blinked a few times and then looked again..."Hyung am I seeing things or are you also seeing this?"

"No... I'm seeing it too, what should we do?" he asked.

"I- I don't know... this isn't a mistake, right? That is literally me?" Songyeon said.

"Yeah... l-like should we call them?"

Neither knew what to do... honestly, in general, they were just a little curious about the boy who went missing. They really didn't expect that it would be like this; they didn't expect it would be Songyeon.

"I think we shouldn't... I should confront my... what would I call them? Kidnappers? Cuz clearly they aren't my parents" Songyeon said, he was confused, frustrated, and really angry... they controlled his whole life and ruined his whole life.

"Okay, tomorrow we are leaving earlier than planned and then I am going with you to confront them, I am not letting you deal with this alone, and then when we are done there we are going to take a break and breathe a little and let everything sink in and then we will go and talk to the couple and get a DNA test just to double-check everything and then we are going to let you have your life back"

"Thank you hyung, really," Songyeon said and leaned over to the older and pecked him on the cheek.

The two couldn't help but smile as the blush decorated their cheeks.
