And so, Taehyung started his tale, while jimin and dangun silently rode on the backs of their steeds, jimin’s cheeks flushed and red trying to anticipate but failing what nonsense taehyung was about to tell the poor boy.

“A few years ago, when you were not born of course! But like uh the queen was going to… ya know do the stuff with the king… and the yum yum happens, but don’t do it with another guy it be wrong doE. I-” 

Jimin glared at taehyung with a look of disgust, signalling that the kid was literally 18- and had no knowledge of whatsoever-

“o-ooh ahh! Right! So when the queen was about to have you and yo mans in the castle, She came back because her great grandma or something I don’t know ask jimin-...”

 Jimin nodded, gesturing taehyung to quickly finish the story as he had been rambling on for about an hour, going in circles about, well, stuff.

“Okay anyway, so Jin hyungiee came with the queen so she could meet with queenie witch madam to ask her something about some prophecy which had been made some centuries ago about the tyrant ruler and the true ruler of baekjae. So when they came here, Jimin sir here was so beautiful in the black outfit of his… ahh~ I still remember how the black outfit hugged him in all the right places, yet it looked so royal. This man or woman … witch sir here, was the leading member of the imperial witch brethren. Our queen just had one rule and ajhusshi here, broke it. Ah wait, I’ll tell you hold your horses.”

 Taehyung stopped a bit and took a sip of water before continuing again, as he had been screaming out loudly about the whole journey, but no one could hear him because they were in a freaking bubble which was like a wall.  All the people who saw them passing by, thought taehyung was mad and laughed at him. The only good thing about the bubble was hat it worked both ways, so taehyung didn’t hear the other people either. These people were travellers who were trapped by the witches, while the witches sat inside and laughed at the laughing travellers, while muttering a silent ‘stupid’.

“Okay back to story. So seokjin sir had entered with the queen, as he desired nothing more than the queens safety at that moment. Now that I think about it, that man and his strong will power was smoking hot! I would’ve fallen for him, if not jimin. Your mom, the queen, she stayed here for a couple days, because she missed the celebrations here, and how the people used to treat her. Jimin and seokjin, when they first saw each other, they zinged. Zing is love at first sight, or should I say love at first bite huuuuuh hyuung”

 he wiggled his eyebrows at taehyung who simply rolled his eyes and brushed it off.

“This beautiful guy, who was a woman back then, sat next to seokjin during the banquet which was held for your mom, and accidentally took the same piece of chicken wings, which seokjin was holding. Both of them turned a bright red and got up suddenly, apologising to each other, while me, the seco- no third beautiful, of course the queen is the most beautiful”  

Taheyung chuckled, shaking his head, mouthing a ‘no, jimin 1st, queen ugly’ making a face of pure disgust, scrunching his nose and turning his mouth into a frown, while dangun laughed a happy laugh so loud, all jimin could do was stare at him, and awe at the sight. ‘Just like his mother.’

The trio stopped at a bar, to get something to eat, and then continue their journey into the night.

“So they apologised and ran in different directions, only to bang their heads together in the courtyard! ….”

“Hurry up! Stop taking so much time to tell a love story which lasted for 3 days! Ugh! I’ll Tell him.” Jimin said, trusfrated.

“Look dangun, Looooong story short, Me and seokjin fell in love, mistake number one, mistake number two, I let him kiss me, which was not supposed to happen until and Unless I had him under my spell, but what happened was the opposite, mistake number three, On day three, the final, well it was actually 4 days That your mom stayed here, our queen called Jin to her quarters, where I was , sitting next to her, discussing your mom’s way back, and asked jin to be her king, but he politely declined, saying that he loved me, because I was the actual queen in looks, brains, and kindness, and had a better personality than her. He was so brave as to even go to the extent of telling her that I was the rightful queen. At that moment that lady raged so hard, She said, and I quote ‘She will never have more power than the actual queen!’ and hit me with her sceptre right on the head, which transformed me from a woman to a.. disgusting creature called man. But luckily I retained my powers and she just told me, ‘If I can’t have him you can’t have him’  and walked away to her personal chamber, leaving me in his arms as I sobbed and sobbed while he just patted my back, and said, ‘I will always love you jimin, I never have, and I never will meet a woman… well, man, with such a calibre as yours.’ And then he kissed me abruptly, leaving the queen gaping at that sight. I never saw him in person after that, but I keep looking out for him in any way I can. I know he married and had kids, but He never forgets to remember me atleast once a day, looking at the moon, and when the moon doesn’t appear, he lights a lantern and lets it float in the air.”

 Jimin sighed, smiling, while dangun just looked at him, confused, with so many questions, but all of them were answered, the answer being the solitude of jimin.

Two days later

“Here we are. The queen’s palace. You go in, I’ll be outside waiting for your signal, If she wants me there.”
Jimin sighed, taking the horses into the shed.
