Chapter 12

Kehlani POV

I went to the address the women sent me for the apartment and parked my car and walked on in.

"Hey it's Kehlani Johnson and I'm here for the apartment tour that I called about two days ago" I said
"Ah yes" hold on just one second" the women said

As I was waiting I seen somebody I didn't wanna see or who I didn't think I was ever gonna see since we broke up again, JORDAN.

"And you thought u could get away from me huh" he said as he walked over to me"
"Jordan what are you doing here, are you following me" I said scared
"You thought yo ass could break up with me and get away with it huh? Don't worry bout if I'm following you or not, I've been watching your every move just know that" he said through gritted teeth
"What do u want from me jordan I told you I didn't wanna be with you anymore, what more don't u understand " I said standing up to him
"I told you how many time that I didn't give a fuck if you didn't wanna be with me or not." He said
"Ima let you search for your little apartment that u looking for though, oh and tell mr... what's his name again? oh Trey. Tell him I said wassup" he walked away laughing.

I can't believe that jordan has been following me this whole time. It makes me wonder, was he with me at the club with kierra and jada and treys friends? was he watching me at the hair solon? like why is this happening to me?! As I was in my thought the women came back and told me she was ready to give me the tour.

"Okay hun, was this the apartment that you was looking at? The women asked
"Yes, this is the one" I said
"Well let's start the tour " I said

We did the tour around the apartment and it was huge it was just the apartment I was looking for I really liked it a lot.

"How much is this?" I asked
"This apartment is about $2,8900 " she said
"I'll take it" I said smiling
"Alright hun right this way to fill out some paper work and talk about the move in date" she said with a big grin

After we talked about the date and did some of the paper work, she told me I could start moving in soon. After we finished talking I went and got into my car and sat there for a minute debating if I should tell Trey about jordan, I really didn't wanna keep hiding things from Trey cause I really like him. So I decided to give him a call.

"Wassup ma" his deep voice bomb into the phone
"Hey Trey do u mind meeting me at chickfla, I need to talk to u it's important" I said about to cry
"Yeah i can.. you okay? He asked worried
"No but I'll tell u all about it when u get here " I said
" Ight " he said

After the call with Trey I waited for him to arrive.

Treys POV

Kehlani called me and asked me to meet up with her she had something important to tell me, when she called it sounded like she was on urge to crying, so I agreed to meeting up with her to see what was up with her. I pulled into the park in lot. I didn't see her in a car or anything she was already in the buliding I spotted her over there at a table.

"Hey ma " I said as I walked over to her
"Hey" she said
"So what's wrong what u gotta tell me cause u got me a little worried and shit " I said
"Welll I know you can tell I've been acting a little weird around you so it's something I need to tell you" she said
"Okay I'm listening " I said
"I was in a toxic relationship well more like abusive. I was with him for 4 years and he would beat me, he barley let me see my friends and wouldn't even let me have friends, two days before I met you he picked me up for work and I seen him talking to another female when I was walking out, I asked him who she was he swear she was just a friend but I knew it was more to that, when he dropped me off he was tryna tell me when he was gonna pick me up and let me know when I was ready , I ignored him. So he grabbed my arm really tight and left a big as bruise on my arm" she said in between cries
"My parents hated him, my friends hated him, the only person that didn't hate him was my little sister Avianna, she loved him but she only loved him bc she didn't know the things he did to me until a couple days ago when my dad got back I told my mom and now my sister hates him and scared for her life bc she think something bad is going to happen to me, and I'm not gonna lie to u Trey I'm scared to . I get unknown calls from him from different numbers that I don't know about , then today when I was at the place to get my own apartment he popped up there and told me to tell you hey, he knew your name and everything. Trey I swear to god I didn't tell him anything about you. " she said with tears running straight down

I grabbed her hand into mine

"Calm down ma u good now i promise u, u good. I'm not gone let anything happen to you, I need to meet your parents right away though cause I need to know everything about this boy so I can know who he is what he look like and etc. " I told her
"I just don't want you hurt Trey, that's why I tried keeping this away from you because i didn't want him to hurt you cause he's real dangerous " she said
"Well ma I'm dangerous too. Anything he try to do to u ima be right there with you at all times. " I told her in a serious tone.

I know she was like what did I mean by dangerous but ima explain that part to her a lil later right now I'm worried about making sure she straight right now.

"Have you ate" I asked her
"No I haven't " she said
"Lunch on me, come on so we can order u sum" I said
"Okay" was all she said

Jada POV

I seen kierra run out of the shop wondering why. I seen qua and his this little girl walking up to me.

"Hey jada can you do my daughter hair please " he asked

Daughter?! When tf did this nigga get a daughter he didn't tell anybody about a daughter. I bet Trey ass knew about this and didn't say anything.

"Yeah i can" I said

So I started doing his daughter hair and gave her these two little braids and some little hair bows at the bottom and took her picture.

"There you go pretty girl " I said to her
"Tank you" she said to me
" You welcome pretty. I said
"Thank you jada , it means a lot. " qua said
" yeah no problem, it's just $40 " I said

He gave me the money and him and his daughter left the shop. So I went to go make sure kierra is okay cause I know she was so surprised about this whole situation.

"Hey ke , u okay" I asked
"No, but I will be " she said
"Maybe y'all should talk about it sis, I'm sure it's an explanation for all of this" I said
"Yeah I guess so, do u mind locking up the shop I'm gonna go home and lay down and get some rest " she said
"Yeah i can, I'll be by to check on you later " I told her

Wow so much shit has happened today.
