Chapter 53

Jay POV
Me and Jada had arrived back at my crib about an hour ago from Kehlani's house. We watched dream girls for about another hour then started to have a coversation about what happened today.

"How you feel about today" I asked
"Kehlani surprised me, I didn't think she was back there behind him" Jada said
"Me either, I swear she was behind Trey" I said
"You know I've never seen Kehlani shoot anybody? " Jada said
"I can tell this her first time, she looked scared when she shot him but didn't show it because she was more worried about her parents" I said
"Yeah that's definitely one thing she doesn't play about family and friends" Jada said laughing
"I can tell" I said

Me and Jada were having a pretty good conversation , we just been chilling every since we've got back. I decided now was the perfect time to ask jada on the first date.

"So Jada" I said
"Yes?" Jada said
"I was wondering if tomorrow we could go out for dinner or something, just the two of us" I said
"I would love to Jay" Jada said
"Good, ima be right back okay"
"Okay" Jada said

I went into the bathroom to call Kehlani and tell her that I wanted her to get Jada out the house, do her hair, get her nails and toes done all that. It was going to be a special night.

"Hello Jay" Kehlani said into the phone
"Hey, I need a favor " I said
"What's your favor" Kehlani asked
"Tomorrow I'm planning to take Jada out on a date. I want you and Kierra to take her shopping, get her nails and toes done and hair keep her distracted so she won't be wondering what I'm doing, don't tell her anything though " I said
"Aww okay, yeah I can do that for you" Kehlani said
"Thanks sis" I said
"You welcome, just text me a time you want me to get her" Kehlani said
"You can come early in the morning, after yall finishing doing what I said, just act like it's a regular girls day" I said
"Okay" Kehlani said
"Thanks again sis" I said
"No problem " Kehlani said
*end of call*

After I was done talking on the phone with Kehlani I decided to tell Jada let's go ahead and get into bed.

"Hey you ready for bed?" I asked coming back into the living room
"Yeah sure" Jada said heading into the bedroom
"So are you really sleepy" I asked sitting on the bed
"No, but if you're, I can go to sleep with you" Jada said
"Nah I'm not sleepy, I just wanted to get more comfortable " I said getting into bed
"You wearing that to bed?" Jada asked
"No, I'm taking my pants off whenever I get sleepy"
"Oh okay" Jada said getting into the covers
"So what do u want to talk about" I asked
"Let's talk about where you're taking me tomorrow " Jada said smiling
"I can't tell you that, it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now would it? " I asked
"Who said you had to surprise me?" Jada asked
"Me. That's who even if u didn't say it , I would still do it" I said smiling
"I see you would. So what do I do while you prepare for this little date " Jada said being sarcastic
"Aye cut all that sarcasm shit out, and you'll see. Everything will be explained in the morning" I said
"I really don't see why won't you just tell me" Jada said
"Cause you don't need to know, you can just wait until tomorrow evening " I said
"Okay" Jada said
"You mad?" I asked
"No, I understand go ahead and surprise me baby boy " Jada said smiling
"Bet" I said

Jada POV
Me and Jay were sitting in the room talking about everything and laughing about what happened today. Jay then asked me out on a date and of course I said yes because Jay is a sweetheart, I don't see him doing anything wrong or messing anything up. So I'm ready to see what Mr bad boy got in store for me tomorrow night.

"So I have a question it's about Trey's dad " I said
"I'm listening" Jay said
"So why is his dad so stuck up on seven?" I asked
"Well Trey and seven did have a good relationship back in the day. Trey's pops loved Seven because Seven always acted like she supported Trey around Trey's dad, but in reality she didn't. And that's what Trey's pops don't know. He only seen the fake side of her, he hasn't seen the real side. Like how she was working with the other side and how she's supposedly pregnant by Rico. " Jay explained
"Wow, so Seven basically pretended to like his parents to" I asked
"I wouldn't say she pretended to like his parents, I would say she pretended to like Trey. She loved his parents and his parents loved her" Jay explained
"Do you ever think his parents would like Kehlani?" I asked
"Yeah they will, they just need some time to actually get to know her. Everything gone work out fine. I'm not even worried." Jay said
"Well of course you aren't worried. But I am, his parents are really hurting Kehlani's feelings. Kehlani's parents love Trey's parents but Trey's parents doesn't love Kehlani " I said
"Well not yet, I mean they did just meet " Jay said
"And so did Trey and Kehlani's parents" I said
"But baby everybody not the same on getting to know each other" Jay said
"What do u mean by that?" I asked
"Well Trey's parents and Kehlani's parents are different. Kehlani parents are more of the loving and friendly type of parents not saying that's a bad thing . And Trey's parents don't just like anybody or want to be family with anybody. They think everything is like a set up to them" Jay said
"Well , you need to talk to Trey about that" I said
"I'll try to baby" Jay said
"Well goodnight I'm getting sleepy" I said turning over
"Goodnight babygirl " Jay said
