Chapter 49

Trey POV
My parents had came in and ruined the mood for everybody. We were all good, getting along into my parents came in. My mom came in all ghetto which is not like her at all. And then my father coming up in here judging kehlani talking about "he miss seven " and "seven was better for me. Seven aint do shit for me but make my life a living hell. Then my mom just sitting up here letting him say shit about kehlani. This exactly why I didn't want Kehlani meeting my parents. Kehlani got yo and left after my father had disrespected her not once but twice.

"You wrong for that pops , ong you wrong " I said shaking my head
"Wrong for what? Speaking the truth? "My dad said
"Man speaking the truth. Man you said that shit in front on my girlfriend, you know I been done with seven before you left for your business trip. You just doing shit just to be doing shit" I said
"Im still your father " my dad said
"Yeah some kind of father " I said

I walked out the room to make sure Kehlani was okay cause my dad was out of line when he mentioned seven. Me and seven were done before he went on his business trip. My dad just doing shit to be petty. And I don't like that shit. I walked into the bedroom to see Kehlani sitting in the middle of the bed and kierra jada and her mom around her.

"Hey, can I talk to Kehlani for a min?" I asked
"Yeah, girls let's give them some time alone" Mrs Johnson said

After they left I started talking.

"Baby" I said
"Mmm" she said looking at me
"I'm sorry, I ain't know my dad was going to act like that or my mom" I said apologizing
"It's not your fault. It's the fact that your dad spoke ok seven, he's not even giving me a chance. He haven't even known me for a whole day yet" Kehlani said with tears in her eyes
"Come here" I said patting to my lap

She came and sat on my lap.

"Dont let my dads words get to you. Be you. Don't let him get you out of character and let you act like somebody you're not. If you feel uncomfortable let me know and we can move in another room or we can just move away from him" I said looking at her in her eyes
"I know, but I really just want your parents to like me" she said looking at me
"They will, it will take time, but they will love you" I said smiling
"You sure about that" she asked
"More than sure" I said looking in her eyes

We locked eyes again. This the 3rd time we done did this shit. It's like I want to do something with her but I know she not ready.

"Come on " she said
"And do what" I asked
"You know..." she said
"I told you I'm waiting until you ready" I said
"I'm ready now. " she said
"Nah, you ain't. You scared as hell right now" I said laughing
"I'm not." She said trying not to laugh
"You not ready for it " I said kissing her lips
"Okay bet. Keep the same energy you have now" she said getting off my leg
"Hell nah , what u talking bout? " I said pulling her back
"Ima do u the same way you do me" she said
"Do me like what" I asked
"Tease you, just how u tease me" she said
"How do I tease you" I asked
"How fine you're and your smile" she said
"I can't help that. What u want me to do? Not smile" I asked laughing
"No stupid. I'm just telling you" she said laughing
"Yeah right" I said kissing her lips
"You love kissing me" she said
"Yeah, you got some soft ass lips" I said laughing
"I know, I keep my lips smooth and soft " she said laughing
"What u trying to say about mines" I said
"Your lips are a little soft, not much though" she said laughing
"So what I suppose to do to get my lips like yours" I asked
"Put lip chap on your lips duh" she said laughing
"I do that" I said
"Then I don't know to tell you " she laughing
"Wow. " I said laughing
"I'm ready to go back out now" she said
"You sure? You don't have to if u don't want to now"
"I'm ready " she said
"Ight " I said

We got up and walked out to the living when I seen a full blown fight between my dad and Kehlani's dad.

"Aye aye , whats going on" I asked running over there in between my dad and Kehlani's dad
"Need to tell this nigga to watch his fucking mouth about my daughter " Mr Johnson said
"Dad, what happened " Kehlani asked
"He kept talking shit about you. The slick comments. You know I don't play about you!" Kehlani's dad
yelled at Kehlani
"Okay everybody just calm down" Mrs Johnson
"You don't tell my husband to calm down, only I do" my mom said
"Mom" I said sighing
"You know what? Everybody get the fuck out. Ive tired being nice to everybody long enough. Kierra can my parents stay with you? Kehlani said irritated
"Yea they can" Kierra said
"I don't care where everybody else go, just get the fuck out" Kehlani said walking into the kitchen.

Everybody gathered there things and exited out.

"Aye man ima holler at you, try and calm Kehlani down" qua said walking out
"Ight man" I said sighing
"Tell Kehlani Ill call her " Kierra said
"I will" I said
"Ight man" Jay said dapping me up
"Yea" I said
"Okay bye" jada said

After everybody left and exited I went into the kitchen to check on Kehlani to see her making some spaghetti.

"Mama" I said walking in
"I thought I told everybody to leave" She said
"You want me to leave" I asked
"No.." she said mumbling
"I thought we talked about this" I said
"What are you talking about" she said putting the noodles into the pot
"You. Controlling everything and just walking away. I'm not mad at you baby, but you know we could've handled the situation way better"
"I've tired controlling it, everybody wasn't getting along. Your dad and my dad were arguing, my mom and your mom started to argue, it was all just to much. I don't know how you handle things but me, I tell everybody to get out and leave me alone for a while" Kehlani said
"We gotta work on that baby" I said walking behind her
"Yeah" she said still cooking
"Look how about this. You finishing cooking we eat and I'll wash dishes while you go take you a long bath and just calm down and I'll come join you in a min.
"Okay " she said smiling
"Finish cooking though"

I just might make love to Kehlani tonight.
