Chapter 66

Jada POV
I had woke up around 11:00am. I don't ever wake up this late but me and jay got in late last night and stayed up to about 4am just talking and eating snacks. So time caught up with us last night. I had woke up and seen that Kehlani had called me 3 times and texted me once. I decided to look at the text message before I would call back.

Hey girl, you must have had a good time last night because you always up in the morning. But anyways I'm at the shop with kierra getting some heads done today. I will do your people and give you the money whenever I see you.

I quickly texted Kehlani back. I feel so bad because I never miss work with Kehlani and kierra unless we all miss work together. I knew Kehlani undertand because I was out with Jay I'm sure she knows I was out late with him though. I looked at at sleeping Jay laying right next to me. I decided on letting him sleep a little longer because he did a lot for me last night. So since he did a lot for me, I'm going to pay him in return and make him some breakfast. I got up out of bed and went into the kitchen washed my hands and started taking out pots and pans for breakfast. I knew where Jay's things were they were easy to find because this boy never cooks anything. I decided to make some grits, eggs, sausage and cheese toast. I looked into the container where jay kept his grits at and put a couple scoops into the pot. After I did that I filled it up with water and put it on the stove waiting on it to start boiling. I then went into the refrigerator and got out two eggs and cracked it into the bowl. I begin stirring the eggs up into it was all mixed up. I poured the eggs into the pan and waited ok then to come together. After about 10mins of doing that. I heard Jay walk into the kitchen up behind me.

"Goodmorning" Jay said wrapping his arms around my waist
"Good Morning" I said smiling
"What you cooking up this morning?" Jay asked
"I'm making grits eggs sausage and cheese toast " I said going over to mixed the eggs up and stir the grits
"Oh you cooking a big breakfast. " Jay said smiling
"Yeah, I didn't want to wake you, so I decided to start cooking you something to repay you for last night" I said
"I told you, you ain't have to repay me for anything" Jay said
"But I wanted to repay you anyways" I said stirring the grits a little more
"Okay baby" Jay said going into the living room to watch tv
"So what do you plan on doing today? " I asked Jay
"I don't have nothing planned. But I really don't want to do anything. I just want to chill at home. We actually been going out a lot for the past couple days " Jay said switching channels
"That's understandable" I said
"Yeah. You got plans today?" Jay asked
"No, I don't have any plans today. Kehlani called earlier about working at the shop but I woke up to late and she saidshe had already started doing hair and would give me the money whenever she sees me. So no, no plans" I said getting the sausage out of the refrigerator
"What time she called? I didn't hear your phone ringing" Jay said
"She called around 9:00" I said
"Oh damn. Yeah I was long gone" Jay said
"We both were. Last night was definitely fun though" I said
"It was " Jay said

After about 15 mins of cooking everything and making sure everything was done. I called jay into the kitchen to get his plate.

"Thank you baby" Jay said
"You welcome boo" I said sitting at the kitchen table

I watched Jay take his first bite. I did want to see how he liked it before I took mines. I knew how to cook now, I don't like cooking but I for sure knew how to cook. Jay took his first bite and his face lit up.

"You like it? " I said
"Baby this right here is bomb good" Jay said
"Stop" I said laughing
"No baby I'm serious. What you put in this to make it so good?" Jay asked
"I put in what you normally suppose to put in" I said laughing
"Yea you definitely put your foot into this shit" Jay said eating a mouth full of grits
"Thank you" I said eating
"You tryna make me propose to you already?" Jay asked
"Boy, my cooking is nowhere near that good " I said laughing
"Man this shit is good as fuck, what are you talking about? " Jay asked
"Okay okay" I said
"So I was thinking after we eat, I run you a nice bath and me and you get into the tub and just chill and relax and watch Netflix all day" Jay said eating
"So you trying to Netflix and chill ?" I asked laughing
"Yeah. What's wrong with that? " Jay asked
"You and I both know Netflix and chilling leads to sex " I said
"So, if it leads to that it leads to that" Jay said finishing his grits
"Oh so you bold now" I said
"What you mean by bold?" Jay asked
"You bold since you planned this date you've been bold since" I said
"Baby I been this bold, I was just waiting to get to know u a little more to let it out. " Jay said
"Yea i bet you have" I said grabbing Jay's and my plate
"I have though " Jay said
"Okay I hear you" I said
"Alright baby ima go run this bath water and we getting straight into chilling mode" Jay said kissing my cheek
