Getting more dancers to fill all of the ten places on my troupe has been slightly difficult. Just slightly. I can't let that get to me. Or to Emily's ears for that matter. She will never let me hear the end of it if she found out. Otherwise, what's the point of fighting if I have less than ten dancers?

I've been through countless calls with other studios trying to get other dancers. So far, no hope.

Luckily, West brought in a new dancer, Kingston. It turned out tht he had no professional training, which I'm fine with because he has a groovy hip hop style. What I wasn't fine with was that he lied about his training. I don't tolerate lying at all.

With this situation, West and I discussed arrangements for Kingston. To make up for a portion of his missing training, West suggested that Kingston should learn the basics of ballet. By that, he meant baby ballet. Where the little four year olds are still learning how to move.

- A WEEK LATER -

Today, someone is coming to audition for my troupe. I received a phone call from a guy named Elliot, saying that he saw my advertisement and wanted to audition. He needs to prove that he has what it takes. I've got no time for people to mess around.

"Michelle, there's someone who said they're hear to audition?"

I stood up from my chair and smoothed my top. "Great. Thanks, Ozzy."

I followed him out of the office to see a dark haired guy stretched out in a deep v shape. Elliot certainly has good flexibility from what I can tell. He finally finished his stretch and glanced up at me.

"I'm Elliot, and you must be?"

"Uh... Michelle." Great first impression me. Way to go.

He quickly got up onto his feet. I held out a hand, which he shook. "Are you ready to audition?"

"I was born ready," and I heard a quiet sigh from behind me. It must've been Ozzy.

Ignoring his reaction, I said, "The space is all yours."

Elliot took his place in the centre of the room. He tapped his watch once, and the music began to play from the corner of the room. Definitely well prepared for this audition. As he danced, I could tell how technical he was. Every move he made was precise, yet elegant.
TNS west could use a dancer like him.

Alongside me are a few of the other dancers who had arrived to rehearsal early. They're lucky to witness such a breath-taking performance. The music faded away.

I started applauding and everyone else joined in. "Elliot, you're officially a member of TNS west. Welcome!"

He gave a half smile in response.

This can only mean a good beginning to TNS west as a whole.

Released this a day later than I originally wanted to, but at least I already had this chapter completed :)

Stay safe and enjoy your week! <3
