Michelle's POV

You might think I'm crazy, but Emily and I, we're friends again. The last few days we've been talking more often than we used to and I'm thankful for that. There's still one problem.

Our teams are yet to battle it off for Regionals. At the end of the week is when we're doing our small group performances. However, there's been a bit of a problem with organising that because TNS east feels that they should perform in Studio One and my TNS wants to perform in Studio A. So it was decided that a duet with a mashup of ballet and hip hop will be done to determine the studio.

Of course, I've got my two best classically trained dancers to tackle this: Piper and Elliot. Piper's technique is one thing, but Elliot really stands out with his precision. Those two working together with West's choreography will clearly win Studio A as the ground for competition. I told him to start choreographing the moment the idea was brought up. Tomorrow is when the duets will be performed, and I actually haven't gotten the chance to watch the full duet yet.

In the last hour, Piper and Elliot have been rehearsing because West had booked them in the studio for the time being. We need the time to clean up anything that isn't completely refined, not that I doubt Piper and Elliot. It's just the pressure of the competition happening this weekend. I know the duets aren't much of a deal, but I know those two want a home advantage.

Nothing's better than dancing in your own studio. The energy that powers their every movement is amazing. As a former dancer on A-troupe, of course I remember the feeling. A-troupe was a crazy, yet lovable family. Winning Internationals with my team meant everything to me. After that I still felt tied to the studio, so I stayed. To this day, I've got no idea what I want to do. I never intended to become a studio head, but I did.

It's funny what life throws at you.

Emily's POV

It hasn't been long since Amy has been a part of my troupe. Luckily, she's the perfect fit for the duet with Noah. With Daniel's choreography, A-troupe will easily win Studio One as the battleground for this weekend's small group competition. We all know that A-troupe are the ones going to qualify for Regionals. My dancers were born for it. Their technical training has brought them up well.

All of this should be a breeze, right?

I rubbed my eyes. I should really get more sleep these days. I spend too much time texting Michelle at night. Well, we don't get as much time during the day to talk, so we talk after hours. Yawning, I finally made my way out of the studio and locked the door.

Gosh, I'm so tired.

Sorry for not updating for a month!

I sorta lost inspiration for this book while I was writing more of my bryles book, so that's why I didn't bother updating until now. Otherwise, I'm hoping to move things along in this book and we'll see what happens with Emily and Michelle...

Have a good day/night :D
