The Early 2000's Comeback Cult

Meeting #8

Hello, and welcome to today's cult meeting. Today we will be talking about toys, stuffed animals, and other stuff along those lines.

So many iconic brands like Barbie, LPS, Zhu Zhu Pets, Pillow Pets, Ty, Webkinz, in my opinion, were the best during the early 2000s.

I remember collecting so many LPS when I was little. We had this bin full to the brim of toys, and 85% was just LPS stuff. We had pretty much any set from 2002-04ish to 2010. I also remember wanting Zhu Zhu Pets suupperr bad but i never got one lol

Polly Pocket will always be a legendary toyline.

at least the early 2000s lines because the new lines don't hit the same.

Another thing is remember those play kitchens where you could just pretend to cook something with plastic food?

that was kinda weird now that i look back on it

I ALSO REMEMBER THIS COMMERCIAL SO VIVIDLY EVEN THO I WAS LIKE 2 WHEN I WATCHED IT--

I still have my elephant one from when I finally got one for my 4th birthday. I gotta dig out my sibling's pillow pets if they kept them so I can give them love lol

wait i just remembered something.

VIEW MASTER OH MY GOODNESS I ONLY OWNED A DORA ONE BUT IT WAS STILL AMAZING

also some other toys i know of that are definitely worth talking about but i either a. they were at my grandmas and rarely played w/ them or b. didn't own them

-squinkies (i still have 99% of mine)

-magnetic sticks and marbles

-those little cashiers

-Furbeez

-sticky hands

-those things you would pop idk what they're called

-happy meal or just kids meals in general toys

-lincoln logs

-melty beads

-barbie jeeps

and many more

What toys did you have/collect?

almost all of my toys are gone :(
