Hello, welcome to today's cult meeting.

a̶n̶d̶ ̶o̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶a̶g̶a̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶w̶a̶t̶c̶h̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶w̶a̶y̶

(once again, it's just Leah again since every1 else is busy. I have an extremely lonely and boring life.)

Today we are talking about technology. And of course it was frickin amazing during this time

i mean who can't forget windows xp or the classic MP3-Player??

e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶b̶o̶d̶y̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶c̶l̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶

anyways

I still have my old MP3-Player from before I was even born because my sister gave it to me.

and i found the hannah montana theme song on it and i'm not disappointed in her at all because i found out it was added in like 2006
anyway

You should all go dig out your old TV or something, because you will never know what you will find :O

I still have that MP3 Player, an iPod Classic, a DS that's very broken but somehow still functions, and same with my PS2

also we had a dinosaur windows xp that i think we upgraded to a windows 7 but we moved and gave it to my grandma. I think she upgraded it all the way to a windows 10 so it's just funny to think of a dinosuar box computer that's yellowed but still functions as a windows 10 computer

Can we take a second to talk about VCR TV's as well?

just the ability to watch a recording of the backyardigans on a vhs tape in your moms room made it amazing to me

it's such a shame that people i know who are my age have no idea what i'm talking about and it makes me feel old :(
too bad that old tv is sitting in my garage rotting for days bc it died

Another thing that is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO THIS TOPIC AND IDK HOW WE HAVEN'T COVERED IT YET

B L O C K B U S T E R

It's so iconic and I really really really really really miss the joy of when your parents tell you to get in the car because we're going to blockbuster go get a DVD of that one Care Bears movie you want to watch on loop all day for the next week or 2.

I also remember flip phones extremely well. I remember being really sad when they went out of style because I took one look at my mom's old new apple phone and thought

'this is garbage, where's the fun part that flips out and turns the phone into a keyboard? that's rubbish'

what is the most memorable piece of technology??

personally i think all of them are super memorable
even cassette tapes

Also! Leave suggestions for what we should revive next bc we haven't done that since meeting #2 and we should probably get started on that again aside from talking about stuff like webkinz lol

So if you could leave some suggestions that would be great! :D

That's it for today's cult meeting. Cya later :))
