-6 months after the legends were disbanded-

"All right." Nate sighed walking over to a table Sara and Ray were sitting at. Setting down his drink and plate of food he slid into a chair across from the two original legends. "What's so important to make you catch a train to Central City?" Nate looked to Sara. "Can't be Clarity she left here like the first week we got back. Says she was going home for a bit but she hasn't come back since. Not to brag but I kinda filled her spot on team flash. Picking up her slack, and look!" Nate pointed at the menu. There was a new drink on the menu called Steel in fact there were drink names for all of Central's current heroes, even some of the og villains like heatwave and captain cold but the one hero who's name wasn't on the drink menu was Glitch. "They named a drink after me. How cool is that?"

"That's awesome man." Ray grinned, happy for his friend. "Where's Amaya? Did they name one after her too?"

"Uh no. She didn't really suit up while she was here, she was afraid of causing timeline damage cause of her granddaughter and we kind of broke up." Nate shrugged trying to act like her leaving hadn't hurt him.

"What?" Sara asked leaning towards him in confusion resting her weight on her arms. Clarity not being in Central anymore she knew about but this was news.

"It's not a big deal." Nate insisted picking at his food with his finger. "So what's going on?"

"Rory found an Anachronism." Sara told him leaning on lowering her voice.

"Apparently, Julius Caesar just wound up in Aruba. Mick's got him all tied up." Ray replied hand on his mug.

"Look, this is our chance to get the Time Bureau to deal us back in." Sara leaned forwards then back in her chair hitting her fingertips against the table. "Look, if we pull this off, Rip might give us our old ship back."

"Wow, I had no idea you were so unhappy with your new life." Ray frowned at her.

"Are you kidding me?" Sara scoffed. "I'm, uh I'm I'm loving it. I'm doing really good work." Sara stuck a grape into her mouth.

"It says you work at Sink Shower & Stuff." Nate looked down at her shirt's name tag.

"Yeah, well even vigilantes have to pay their bills." Sara replied nodding her head side to side. "What are you guys so content with, huh? What are you doing?"

"I'm doing pretty good." Nate scoffed just as Sara had. "Thanks for asking. I am," Nate cleared his throat. "The second most popular superhero in Central City. So that's pretty good."

"Well, I am the first most popular in Silicon Valley, when I'm not changing the world with a Holistic social networking platform." Ray added in his own two cents.

The trio all shared a moment of silence. Contemplating just how shitty their normal lives were and how much they despised them. Who were they kidding? They wanted no they needed to time travel again. Put some actual meaning back in their lives. Because this this was just pathetic.

"Let's go." Sara ordered getting up from the table.

"Mm-hmm." Ray hummed grabbing his jacket off the back of his chair.

"Thank God." Nate breathed. The three legends journeyed to Star city momentarily stopping at Sara's apartment so she could change and grab a few things. Then they were headed to the time bureau's super secret field office entrance.

"You sure this is where they're at?" Nate wondered as they journeyed into a rather normal looking building.

"I bumped into one of Rip's Time Agents a while back. He may have left his badge at my place." Sara informed the boys swiping the circular badge at a scanner off to the side of the elevator button. The elevator doors sliding open the trio filing inside.
