I want to do a genderbent Tom, right? Cause like ya know, Tamsin Riddle would be all kinds of awesome,
- Intelligent. - Cuttingly witty - commanding - Stunning. - looks epic in a suit
And so I'm just like, do I:
A. Toss Alaska in there as the pan icon that she is and have them fall in love? Cause Alaska is like a poster child for gay panic and how would the clueless Tamsin react to Alaska just kind of unable to speak, or a blubbering mess, or telling her how little she likes men in this moment, or how little she wants a boyfriend,
B. Toss Ophelia in there, cause she is low key bi and in every rendition of their story they fall in love with each other I highly doubt that gender would be a barrier,
C. Create a new character inspired by a character from She-Ra (Cause like I love that line when Scorpia is like: where have I seen you before? And then seahawk is all: in your dreams. And Scorpia is completely oblivious and is all: Nah, that's not it. Or like how Adora loses her shit whenever Catra is maybe sorta in any sort of trouble), just a lesbian in the forties who falls in love with Tamsin
D. Toss Marzia in there. Cause she's a very romantic character, and would work in this AU,
E. Toss Aurora in there. She just wants someone to believe in her and I'm not saying that she had a crush on Hailey Sampson, her mentor in the book, when she was younger but that's exactly what I'm saying. Same basic idea of her needing a tutor, just different reactions to catching the feels.
F. Make a storyline inspired by Casey and Izzie and have a new girl come on down to Hogwarts, and Tamsin being like WTF, who are you to walk into MY school and be all smart, and funny, and pretty, and hot, and holy shit you're into what I'm into? We're actually really compatible as friends? Why do I keep looking at her lips. PANIC
G. Have her fall for a soft boi. I love soft boys and I think it would be super cute if she just was sort of like, I wanna feel loved goddammit,
H. Why am I even thinking this? I still have like a million stories up in the air
I. Say screw sleep and just write ALL of them.
So, that's how my life is going. Um hope y'all are doing good.

I really liked writing Cora and Tom's dynamic and the lust to reluctant love trope. Then there's Tom and Lorelai, and that story is more complicated to write cause Lorelai has a complicated family life. Thinking of doing a fake dating to real dating story. Cause I don't have enough plot lines in my brain already, (nervous laughter)
Are there any storylines where you're like Maebelletree, I don't care how many new characters you can come up with! Finish this Goddamn plot!
Cause honestly sometimes I read some of them and I'm like, huh, wonder what happens next? and then I'm like wait a minute, that's me I decide what happens next. I am an indecisive little shit if you can't tell. But I'm also a people pleaser, so any suggestions will be much appreciated.
