Chapter 13: Fading Darkness

1000 years later.....

I've lost everything that was important to me. Being the ruler...it's meaningless. I thought I could make Equestria a better place. But I had lost the key part of me that made it so. The friendship, and the love. Power is nothing, when you have no one to share it with. No pony to talk to, to understand you. All they do is fear, and cower before you. It's not what I imagined...I thought they would love me, not hate me. I ask myself ever day now, was it worth it? Absolutely not. I got what I wanted in the end, being the ruler of Equestria...but it's not how I imagined it at all. Now I must set things right. For years I've researched spells in order to turn back time. The Elements from the other world have just enough power to do this spell. I will visit myself in the past and warn her to not turn down the path of darkness, no matter how unfair this all seems. I will show her what the future holds if she decides to head my warning. Because of my choices, Equestria is on the edge of destruction. In the name of Equestria I pray this may work. 

Spike: You are so out of line! To think that Starlight and Sunset, your former students would EVER do this!!!! You know what?! Celestia and Luna made the right decision! YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE PRINCESS OF EQUESTRIA! YOU DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO BE THE PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP!
