Jeongyeon spent her next few days grooming her doggo and catto, hanging out with her sisters and mom. Also actively assisting her father in the kitchen, including disturbing everyone.

As payback, they disturbed her back whenever she was on a video call with Sana.

Still, her parents caught enough to know who the "lady on the phone" was. Seungyeon, with her usual smirk, cornered Jeongyeon in her room afterwards,

"Spill. The red string, the one you're connected to—it's her, isn't it?"

Jeongyeon froze for a moment, hand hovering above her phone. "...You think it's easy to say?" she muttered.

A long pause. Then, in a small but steady voice, "yes... the red string... ties me to Sana"

A few days later, Sana forgot to put plaster on her neck. That day, her parents noticed.

"Sana, what's this on your neck?" her mother asked, squinting.

Sana froze like a deer in headlights. Too late to cover it with her hand—both her parents had already seen the hickey.

"U-uh... well... actually... I was going to tell you when Jeongyeon came here next week..."

"Jeongyeon?"

"Yoo Jeongyeon??"

Even Sana was speechless when they showed her a news article photo of Jeongyeon's family.

Wait, what??? How come I didn't know anything about this? Why did Jeongyeon never tell me?? Is this why she said she wasn't rushing into marriage?
