I sped up, at a fast walk now.
"Ali!" He yelled, feet slapping the pavement.
"Leave me alone!" I yelled, throwing my middle finger up and speeding up more.
A hand grabbed my arm and yanked me backwards.
I was forced to look into the face of the one man I truly hated.
"Let go of me right now and I won't scream that you're trying to rape me." I said through clenched teeth.
"Ali," he said, breathing hard, "I just wanted to talk to you."
"Yeah?" I said, my eyes shooting daggers at him, "you lost that right when I caught you touching my sister, asshole."
"God dammit Ali." He folded his hands behind his head. "That was one time! One time! And it was a mistake."
"You know what," I said, getting into his face, "you fucking touch me or Abby ever again, I won't just have you taken to jail, I'll have you killed."
I turned and walked off with my head held high, leaving him too stunned to even think.
I grinned triumphantly, he wouldn't be bothering us any longer.
I internally groaned when I realized I had to talk to Justin, this was going to be anything but pretty.
Ten minutes later I walked up Justin's driveway and tried to conjure up an apology.
"Hey Justin, sorry I've been a self-centered bitch lately!"
I shook my head, I don't think so.
"Oh hey Justin, remember when I was being self-centered? It's just because I'm madly in love with you!!!"
HA, no.
Giving up I sighed and opened the door.
The house was completely dark and I ran my hand along the wall and flipped the light switch on.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed, seeing a figure sitting on the couch.
"JESUS CHRIST ALISSA!" Justin shouted back, getting up from the couch.
I put my hand to my chest, breathing heavily.
"Justin?! What the hell are you doing sitting on a couch in the complete dark?" I stammered, resting my head against the wall and looking up.
"I was just thinking, besides, it's my house." He said, angered.
So I guess he hadn't gotten over what had happened earlier.
"Look, I'm sorry." I said, looking into his eyes.
"Yeah, well, sorry isn't going to cut it." He spat out, turning away.
"Justin!" I sped after him and grabbed his shoulder.
"What?" He looked at the floor.
"I-I.." I stammered.
"Spit it out, Alissa."
I gulped and looked down at the floor.
"I love you." I whispered.
