But he stayed in his familys home which opened their doors and hearts to Alyssa.
Amy is protective of her best friend, her being the only one, what happens when Alyssas sixteenth birthday reveals the biggest secret, who is Axels mate?

Review:
This book starts with a very teenage kind of werewolf story but it gets deeper as the story goes on. This is not that focused on romantic love -- but focuses more on friendship and family love. The POVs are of the two bestfriends and then the main male lead character -- who is the brother of the best friend.
I loved the main romantic characters -- especially Axel. Oh, how I wish to have met someone like him when I was younger and impressionable. He's the ideal next door neighbor hero -- just someone you will be lucky to meet, have as family and lover. <3
