I watched as it suddenly stopped its eyes continuing to stare into mine as if it was looking directly into my soul. I couldn't look away from its brown eyes despite the fear that seemed to consume my entire being. The sound of bones breaking and snapping filled the air whilst the wolf began to growl. I felt my eyes widen even more as the wolf began to shake and slowly change until a human was crouching down in its place. There tanned back on display as they stood to their full height completely naked.
"Mine."
Review:
It's a story about a girl so broken inside because the person who was supposed to protect her and love her is the one who instead destroyed her inside and out.
When she finally gets her freedom, it became apparent that her "happy ending" may not last. And now, it's up to her to learn how to trust what was destined to her, and to trust herself to do what is best for herself and her loved ones.
I love that this story is all about the overcoming your obstacles, learning to trust despite your past and taking back yourself from someone who is unworthy of your love and trust. <3
