Shelby's pov
We are now coming home from our vacation and it was amazing. We did so many different things. We had a layover in San Diego, Cali. We were waiting for our flight then I get a group call from Finneas and Claudia.
Shelby- Hey what's up
Claudia-*sniffs*Hey
Billie- Is everything alright
Finneas- Not really but it's not good but since your not home we will wait for you to get home
Shelby- No what
Finneas- Shelby- It would be better here
Shelby- Fine
After we ended the call we had to board our flight anyways. My mind started to race the second I sat down.
Shelby- Billie what if something happened with Rachel
Billie- I don't think nothing did
Shelby- Well I know there is a history in my family for something I don't remember but my grandma passes from it
Billie- Well I don't think we should jump to conclusion just yet
Shelby- Okay
During the whole flight I was freaking out and Billie was calming me down. After got off we got our bags and drove to Finneas's house. I slammed the door open looking for my sister.
Shelby-WHERE IS MY SISTER
Billie- Shelby relax
Finneas- Shelby sit down
Billie- Is it peach
Finneas- No its not Peach
We sat down and Claudia looked like she has been crying for days.
Finneas- Shelby Rachel is at a friends house because she can't even see you right now because its hurting her way to much to see you
Shelby- Why what's wrong with her
Billie grabbed my hand knowing its bad.
Claudia- Well we you left for your 3 week trip Rachel was acting up
Shelby- Like on her period
Finneas- No
Billie- Shelby come here
I didn't move but look at them.
Finneas- Shelby she has Leukemia cancer and we were told your family has a history of it
The second he said cancer is started to cry and didn't know how to handle it. Then I heard the door shut and a hug from Rachel. I grabbed her and hugged her so tight. We were both balling our eyes out. Then we heard loud bangs at the front door. Finneas got the door and our "parents" came running in.
Mom- We leave you with our little baby for only a few years and she is already dying
Shelby- A few years really. YOU LEFT ME WHEN I WAS 6 YEARS OF AGE PAYING THE BILLS! MAKING SURE RACHEL HAD A BETTER LIFE THANK ME BECAUSE YOU MADE IT HELL FOR ME
Mom- That is no way to speak to your mother that way
Then Maggie and Patrick came in. I ran to them and hugged them.
Mom- You replaced us I see
Shelby- I raised Rachel I gave up my whole life for her. I had to get a job at 14, I had to get a license at 14. I had a rude ass lady help me and act as my mother.
