The week had flown by , and it was now the day of their first game . Akaashi had been made official setter , but Kuroo was more worried about Bokuto , he hadn't been himself he was quiet and reserved, he only spoke to the three of them and even then he was timid about it .

Kuroo sat down at the table for lunch being joined by Kenma and Akaashi soon after .

"Where do you think Bokuto is ?" Akaashi asked

"I don't know he's not answering my texts ." Kuroo said checking his phone one more time

"Strange . Is he okay?" Kenma asked looking over into Kuroo's phone

"I have no idea honestly ."

Lunch passed and they all went to their respective classes wondering where Bokuto was

Bokuto waited outside Miko's classroom

"Hey babe ." She called out as she saw him , she tried to pull him in for a kiss but he brushed her off

"We need to talk." He said flatly

"About what?" Miko said getting nervous

"I'm breaking up with you ."

"What?! You can't do that?"

"I can and I will."

"Why are you doing this Bo , do I not mean anything to you ?"

"To put it simply I just don't like you anymore ."

"This is because of those stupid friends of yours isn't it , they just don't know when to butt out ."

"My friends are not stupid , you are , for even thinking that I would even wanna be around someone who thinks lowly of them ." Bokuto turned and walked away

"It's cause of that weirdo Akaashi ."

Bokuto kept walking

"I heard he's gay ! I bet you are too , you fucking creeps!"

Bokuto ignored her yelling and went to his last class of the day

That dumb Akaashi , he'll pay for this

Class flew by and Bokuto scrambled to meet up with his friends

"HEY HEY HEY , y'all ready for the first game !?!?"

Bokuto yelled at the group startling them all

"Hey man glad to see you in good spirits !" Kuroo said slapping his best friend on the back

"Ugh , I liked the silence ." Kenma muttered

The boys walked to the car talking amongst themselves . Once they made it to the gym they went their separate ways with Kenma , Kuroo once again buying him snacks and giving him extra cash for the concession stand . They changed into their official game clothes and started the match .

Kenma watched in awe of how well Akaashi complimented Bokuto , when those two were up front with Kuroo the team seemed unstoppable not to mention they had Yaku who was an amazing libero . The game was over , their team winning with straight sets

Bokuto was pumped to say the least he jumped around and yelled . Soon after he calmed down they lined up , spoke to the coach , cleaned up and were headed back to the boys dorm , with Kenma and Akaashi coming as well

"Y'all did great today ?" Kenma stated

"Thanks pudding , we had a great cheerleader." Kuroo said patting his head

"Tch." Kenma said blushing

"Speaking of cheerleader , how is Miko ?" Akaashi questioned turning towards Bokuto who was pulling out leftovers
