With one last wave of flames, the ghosts backed away.

"I think we should go, it's getting hot in here ain't it?" Said Louie as he had his hands at the back of his head.

"Eh~ I doubt we would be injured or anything..." Dewey said, wearing a frown on his face.

He still wanted to play.

Huey chuckled at this as he patted the other's back. "Louie is right you know? We might get hur- oh wait! We're already dead!" He joked, earning laughter from the other ghosts.

Dewey smiled, already in a better mood. "Hehehe right, right!"

The three of them slowly disappeared, but before leaving entirely, Dewey looked at the boy and monster. "Let's play again next time."

Then there was silence.

Grim panted then flopped on top of Maruyake's head. "E-eh? We.. won?" He asked as the boy patted him by the back.

"Yes, indeed." Maruyake smiled. "You have my thanks."

Grim floated in front of the boy, now facing him. "Ha-hee.. That was scar... No, I wasn't scared at all!" The monster corrected himself as he now wore a toothy grin.

"This is nothing for the Great Grim! How 'bout that, ghosts? You done?" He continued to taunt for a while longer, but was stopped abruptly as both the creature and boy heard some footsteps coming towards them.

-

Crowley was making preparations and informing the rest of the staff about the boy, Maruyake's predicament.

When the Headmaster was done with the staff and had everything settled, he went to fetch the boy some supper, he is very gracious after all.

He made his way back towards the Ramshackle dorm, only to see a glow of red light in one of the windows of the building. At this he hurriedly made his way inside, not bothering to knock as he was concerned on what might happened to the child.

What in the name of Great Seven is going on?

Crowley made his way towards the lobby, only to stop mid way. What he saw before him was the boy, standing in the middle of the room. He had a particular monster at the top of his head, shooting flames at ghosts as Maruyake instructed him the directions of their targets.

Wasn't that creature tossed outside of the school? What was it doing here?

The Headmaster shook his head.

No, better not dwell on it too much.

He backed away and hid himself, to continue spectating the battle.

Crowley saw red light, although faintly, swirling around the room. But that wasn't what surprised him the most, the Headmaster was stunned when he saw another light. One that looked to be gentle and soothing, guiding the monster of each direction their targets appeared.

Things have gone stranger and stranger today...

When he noticed that the battle would soon be over, he fixed himself and made sure that the supper he brought for the boy wasn't ruined whatsoever.

-

"That was quite the battle, Mr. Himitsusei..." Came Crowley's voice.
