BRRRRIIINNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!

The bell rings, echoing through the quiet halls of Ashley waters as what seems like a stampede is heard through the thin walls. It's the end of my first day of school in America and I make my way out towards the gate.

Once out, I see Nathan (evil laugh)  as he calls me towards him using the typical universal gesture. Groaning in frustration, I make my way towards him. I swear to whoever the hell is controlling my stimulation of a life, that if these academy boys don't leave me alone, I'm going to strangle one of them sooner or later.

"Athena do you need a ride home?" Questions Sang from behind North AKA scary man, as I make my way towards the group.

"Nah I'll be good. I like the rain." I state as I feel the beginning of a rainstorm forming. The air gets thicker and it feels like there is ice in my lungs.

"No. You'll get sick! I thought you had a ride but you're walking. Come with us." Scary man just about demands, whilst stepping closer in attempt to grab my arm. I dodge him.

"Umm. You might be friends with Sang but that does not mean you can order me around the place. I suggest you take Sang home before she gets cold and stop telling people what to do." My frustration starts to show at these men. Scary man or not, you do not tell me what to do . I just want to go home and watch some Disney movies for fucks sake!

He grumbles at me but Sang calms him down. "It's okay. If you need our help call us." As she says this, she gets her light pink phone out to get my number.

I give her it.

What?! I kinda like her out of all these dickheads.

With that, she and her Academy men leave and I start my walk home. As I'm about to cross the street, my phone vibrates in my pocket, indicating someone is calling me. I pick up.

"BaByY!!! You didn't call me when you landed!" Screeches a voice I could recognise anywhere. Lewis, one of my closest friends and the best hacker you could ever find (also the one that taught me).

"Shiiizzzlesss! I'm so sorry boooo! I feel asleep!" I say in an overly exaggerated baby voice. We both laugh.

"Urgh I hate those stupid women that use that voice. Like it gets to a point you can't recognise them anymore!" Rants Lewis once we've both calmed down.

"I know right! Anyways why did you call me?" I ask, knowing there has to be a reason as he's usually pretty busy managing his work and his boyfriend.

"Oh my Lordy! Liam is being an asshole! I told him I have to work but he keeps dragging me back to bed! Like I'm not going to lie, gurrrlll that man is packing!  but-" before he can continue I stop him with a grimace.

"Ohhkkayy! That's enough phone time for today. I do not want to hear about my friends sex life thank you very much I appreciate the involvement and all but I'm good." I make dying whale sounds and scrunch my nose at the thought. Ew.

"There's some academy here." I inform him, becoming serious so he's aware I'm not joking.

"Really? Do you want me to do a background check?" He asks, always having my back. Ahh Lewis what would I do without you?

"Not needed they're an open book." I say looking left and right as I cross more roads.

"Luu I met this girl today and it seems like they are interested in dating her. We both know the academy are open to polyamory so it's a possibility but Lewis she reminds me of me. I'm certain she's being hurt at home and she's also being bullied in school. I met the bully in the corridor and she's actually crazy." I fill in Lewis on the events.
