Chapter 17

I actually got a chapter up up on time for once, that's great, and Its even better that you don't have to read a long apology about me getting it up late again. Well anyway, I hope you like this chapter.

You'd been trekking through the forest for a while after you'd found a map underneath a rock placed in the center of a tree stump and you were getting pretty close go wherever it was taking you

Finally you came across a clearing, there was a cave back near the base of a mountain and you looked at the map Finn had to confirm this was the right spot

"It's in the cave?" You asked looking over at him

"Looks like it." He nodded putting the map in his backpack

"Ready?" He asked

"Yeah." You said excitement shooting through you, it looked pretty scary which kind of made it more fun

Finn nodded and took your hand before leading you in, it was pretty dark inside but there where a few torches lining the wall deeper inside and Finn grabbed one to help light the way, after a while the walls of the twisty tunnel got smaller and there were no torches on the walls so it was pitch black except for the torch Finn held

"It's really dark in here." You spoke making the only sound except for the echo's of your feet and the crackling of the torch

"Yeah." Finn answered

"It's kind of scary, but it makes it more exciting." You said said feeling the tunnel wall with your free hand

"It does, doesn't it. " Finn said a smile over taking his face

Where the torch had lit up the floor before it now reflected off of a metal door a few feet away, you both stopped in front of it and Finn pulled it open with some effort while you marvels at how big it was, you assumed the tunnel ceiling was short considering ho close the tunnel walls got but the ceiling was pretty high up and you noticed stalactites hanging from it

"Heavy door." He said as you walked through

"Definitely." You agreed feeling the thick solid door

Inside, the room was circular and there were multiple passages with a single diamond door with different kinds of metal locks directly across from the door we just came out if, and torches lined the walls

Finn pov

"Which one should we go through?" Y/n asked questioningly

"Well, I'd probably go through that one first." I said pointing to the door directly to our left

"Ok" Y/n nodded,

We went through it and Inside was a room full of piles of bones

"Well then..." Y/n said dropping back behind me as I led the way,

"it's ok." I said holding her hand

"What's that?" She said pointing to a bronze plaque

"Find the bronze key as one finds a needle in a haystack." it read in bold letters

"This is going to take awhile." Y/n said as we looked at all the bones

"Yep." I answered with a sigh "well, I guess we better started looking." I said putting the torch in an empty holder before sitting down

"ok!" she said sitting opposite of me and sorting. She pushed a bunch of bones out of the way and started putting all of the ones she checked in the empty space she had cleared out.
