LICK BY LICK, each drop hits my hand, streaking in curves towards my arm. The drops are cold, unstoppable against the pouring rain against my face.
Earth, I think the best thing you've done is doing such a wondrous job in creating food. It's a comfort constant— especially this slippery cream and crunchy wafer which I know will be by my side no matter what happens. With a silky smooth texture, the bitter dark chocolate chips make me shiver now, not in cold but, at the bitter delight, I find from it.
At once, my vision is filled with the soft melted gooey texture it must-have, the cold shards of chocolate frozen until my soul transforms it into a burst of sparkles.

It literally feels like I disappear from the surface of planet earth and then I come back with such a damn short chapter? well, I'm sowieee. this month or better yet, this year for anyone I don't think is going the best. just wasn't feeling this week these nor past few weeks and, I never want to give you something that doesn't measure up to the actual quality I know I can give.
while, this chapter is very short, I think it does sum up what ice cream is in Anika's world, no?

june 5, 2022: I'm so excited to be writing this story, I truly did miss this story because it was, truly a part of my mind. coming back to it, saying thank you to my mind for getting to where I am and staying with me despite it all is something beautiful to me. I couldn't be more thankful to have you by my side. I'm grateful that today, I'm here to share Anika's story with you 😘❣️🥰
