Catherine cupped her hands, resting her head in her hands before looking up as the shouting grew louder "Come here you little shit!" the man yelled, he had been chasing her through out the place for hours.
Her teacher brought the young Dixon girls here after the city was bombed, thinking it would be a safe place for them... Unfortunately, she was wrong.
Catherine continued to run as fast as she could while knocking over shelves or anything that was light enough for her to push, her breathing became more heavy as she turned multiple corners praying that someone would help
"I'm gonna fucking kill you!" he yelled again
Catherine screamed as the man she was running from grabbed her by her hair tossing her to the floor
"Please" she begged as she gasped for air the man laughed as he slowly walked towards her knowing she couldn't run away this time and she was definitely too weak to fight back.
She let out a whimper as he started to undo his zip once again she felt defenseless and alone.
"You've got your sister to blame for this" he crouches down forcing her to the ground
"Well look what we have here," a familiar voice behind the man said
"Oh my god... it's not what it looks like I swear!" the man who was previously on top of Catherine's defenseless body was now cowering in the corner
"Really? is that true kid, is this really what I think it looks like?"
Catherine looks up at the other man hatred filled her body yet she knew he was the only one who could help in this precise moment
"He is lying" Her voice barely above a whisper
"Did you hear that John? the girl claims you're lying and we all know how I despise liars and rapists, do you know what happens to liars and rapists in here?"
"Please ..... I didn't I swear" John pleaded causing the other man to smile lifting his weapon high before bringing it back down fast crushing John's skull beneath the weapon
"That's what happens" the man smile now gone as he cleans his weapon looking over at Catherine as she quietly choked on her tears "Your sister Marzia wants you to go visit her kid".
Catherine gasped waking up from her dream sweat covering her forehead. She sat up looking over at Charlie and Marzia who were fast asleep on the seat, Katie was on the top bunk above her mumbling in her sleep. Catherine sighs before getting up from the bed the girls were still snoring away in there sleep.
Grabbing her hoodie pulling it over her head she walked towards the door taking in a deep breath before stepping out the door of the RV, looking at trees she took yet another deep breath smiling knowing she was safer now as she took big steps towards Hershel's house.
Walking onto the porch she smiles at Maggie who is sat on the rocking chair "Hey Maggie" she says before making her way inside.
The scent of burnt toast filled her nose as she made her way into the kitchen
