If and when they become v soft- Kusaru could feel so conflicted like "i just want to fucking kiss you,,, without hurting you. All I do is hurt you."
Also the things they can't do- like cuddle- I mean they can cuddle if they are both covered in clothing but I don't think they can fall asleep because imagine Kusaru just waking up to a slowly decaying matrix larnksnfnej
I think for liek kissing matrix could cast a spell on herself to heal her self as she's getting injured

I had an idea of having him turn Rebel a lot later on, but the cultists not knowing it. So it could be like a "kidnap" act where Kusa caught Matrix, and they'd both have to act that way but both of them just subtly flirt and joke with each other the whole time.
The banter between them is everything
It annoys the shit out of everyone else
Makes Todoroki sick because it's like watching his mom flirt
I can imagine kasura beating himself up inside every day (when he had just accepted his feelings and stopped pushing away matrix in any way he could) for hurting her, and giving her scars. For example the first time she flinches when he moves a hand near to idk maybe tuck a piece of hair behind her ear
And like the hurt in his eyes when she flinches
And when they went:
"Why don't you touch me?"
"Because I'm afraid I'll hurt you."
All you have to add is 'again' and it's Kusa and Matrix
AND it's also a thing with him not being able to f e e l
And her being so knowledgeable

[S]Matrix is the only person who Kusaru has been able to touch (aka her magic is so strong that she can even counteract his cursed magic)
Matrix works day and night to craft the perfect spell to nullify his touch. It saps a lot out of her while she has it up but she does it for him.
So the first time he discovers it is really sweet. So she takes him to a secluded area, she takes his arm and pulls of his glove. He's like "what are you doing!? I could hurt you." He try's to pull away but matrix speaks up saying how it's okay. She takes her hand and guides up zombies hand to rest on her cheek. He again tries to take it away for the first few moments before noticing no skin is decaying.
Omg and the realization that he's able to touch her without hurting her:
"You.. you're not rotting.. I can touch you.. I'm touching you!" Mind you he's never really been able to touch anyone without hurting them, ever since he had the power. So feeling her for the first time would be like heaven. He'd start kissing her and hugging her and running his fingers through her hair.
