Arielle's pov

My eyes were glued shut

I tried so hard to open them but I couldn't

My skin was burning

My face felt sticky from the sweat

My head was pounding

I tried to move but I couldn't

I tried to shout but I couldn't

I was stuck in the darkn...

Hell nah!

None of those happened.

I just had one of the best dreams of my life. It was really strange but nice.

I was burning with excitement and I felt really hyper, like I could run a marathon and not feel tired...

Just like the unicorn in my drea...

Anyways!

Why is everywhere so dark though?

I tried to stand up but due to unfortunate circumstances, I fall face down

Ow! My nose

"You shouldn't try to move around in this state"

I stood up turned around slowly with wide eyes and trembling lips. Of course I couldn't see anything. This room was pitch black

"Who's there?" I asked and I heard a chuckle

"It doesn't matter. Lie back down" the voice said and I heard some shuffling

I huffed and traced my way back to the bed

Who the hell does she think she is? She doesn't have the right to tell me what to do!

But I listened though...

And then there was silence.

I was getting bored so I sat down on the bed and tapped my foot on the floor, humming the lyrics of one of my favorite songs

"Stop that" the voice said again

"But I'm bored" I whined

"Then try thinking" the mean voice replied

Thinking? What does that mean?

"Now don't move" the voice said and I heard someone's footsteps. Oh, she's coming to meet me! Lovely

"Sit up" she said and I sat up. I strained my eyes to see her but I couldn't see anything. It's like she blended with the darkness. But then she lit a candle

It wasn't much but it was enough for me to see her outline

She was wearing a black cloak and a black mask but I could see her forehead and she had a scar

She looks dangerous... maybe I should hug her

She put her hand on my forehead. I tried to look up but she hissed, making me look down in fear. She closed her eyes and muttered something in a very weird language

I should ask her to teach me

"Hey could you te..." she opened her eyes and I gasped in shock. Her normal brown eyes now had a strange gray color. I could almost swear I saw a dragon flying in her eyes. Then suddenly, I started to feel really light headed. She continued muttering something but stopped when we heard footsteps from outside
