taehyung repeatedly spritzed perfume all over his freshly bathed body. today was jungkook's first basketball game, meaning he had to look presentable for others.

jungkook might've skipped practice a few days ago to take care of taehyung, but there were surprisingly no repercussions. his coach decided to brush it under the rug since jungkook was his golden player for all positions.

it all made sense to taehyung. jungkook would be occupied with practicing nonstop while his fellow teammates were busy sleeping at home. anything less than perfection was never tolerated by him. jungkook was simply gifted with the skills others lacked.

so here taehyung was, freshening himself up as if jungkook would be able to see him from miles away in the crowd. it was unreasonable, but still worth it. he had to look good for him.

taehyung swiftly slipped on his pink vans before traveling down the stairs. he stepped into the kitchen and prepared a light lunch for channie in hopes of reducing the babysitter's workload before she arrived.

he left the house in a huge rush. he was fully aware that the gymnasium would be packed, so it was his goal to reach his destination before the seats were filled.
