I did not want to turn 16.
I most certainly did not want a soulmate.
It would just cause so much drama! I knew it would.
Well, I was right.
3 days before Sophie's 16th birthday, 5 days before Valentine's Day
My phone rang in my ears. I groaned, glancing at the time. 9:30. Ughhhhh. It was so earlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
It was Biana.
"Sup?" I asked with a yawn.
"I'm going to host a Valentine's Day party at my Uncle's mansion-we need to go to the mall to pick out dresses and decorations. ASAP."
I groaned. "Not going. Single pringle, remember?"
"Yeah, but you don't need to have a date to go. It'll be fun. Pleaseeeeeee?" Biana whined.
I rolled my eyes. She always wanted an excuse to throw a party, go to the mall, or wear a dress. "Fine. I'll meet you at the Starbucks in an hour."
"AN HOUR!?"
"Yes an hour. I just woke up, chill," I sighed, "See ya then."
