Evelyn was pacing inside the room they were in when they first arrived. Geralt stood beside her, watching her. Steps were heard from the corridor and Evelyn stopped in her tracks and Yennefer walked into the room, holding clothing. "He's in a deep healing sleep." She stated. "How long will he sleep for?" Evelyn asked and the mage looked at her for once. "Long enough for you to bathe." she said glaring into Evelyns eyes. Geralt looked confused at the mage and so did Evelyn. Yennefer put down the clothing she held, on the table. "How do you... Oh, right. Magic." Geralt said but Yennefer still looked at Evelyn. "I hardly think bathing in this house is going to leave us any cleaner." Evelyn said looking back to Geralt, grinning slightly. "I insist." The mage answered. "I can not only guess the age and breed of your horse, but also it's colour by the smell." She said and left the room. Geralt looking over at his lover who looked at him with a frown.

"Fishing for a djinn seems an extreme measure to remedy sleeplessness." Yennefer said to the bathing Evelyn in the tub. Geralt not being here, he won't bathe here, he said. Yennefer knew all about the djinn since Evelyn told her how it happened, Yennefer was a curious person. "When extreme measures seem reasonable, yes, he's desperate." she answered and Yennefer chuckled. "And yet he hasn't asked me to help with that." Yennefer was half lying, half sitting next to the tub in a loose robe. "Looming death kind of jumped the queue. Now I'm wondering if we can afford you. Have I or better, has he accidentally agreed to indentured servitude?" Evelyn asked but didn't receive an answer. Even it brought her blood to boil she still asked that, she had to.

Yennefer got up and untied the knot of her robe to then drop it to the floor. Yennefer didn't care if Evelyn saw her naked, she saw her naked too, so they're even then. They were both women and hadn't to be afraid of showing something. It was normal for them even if they didn't know each other for long and Evelyn hasn't gotten a good impression of her. "Tell me, how come you're a female Witcher? Come now, he promised it but he ain't here, so it's your turn." Evelyn hummed. "Was too curious in Kaer Morhen's basement, and got me some nice mutations." she said sarcastically. "Oh, don't be so grim. How did you even get there? To Kaer Morhen?" she asked another question and got out a sponge to wash.

"Geralt." Evelyn simply said and Yennefer squinted her eyes. "Oh, really? What is he to you?" Evelyn sighed, she had to answer all her questions, it's what Geralt promised and Evelyn now had to do. "Well- uh..." she stopped and put her head back, relaxing in the warm water. "He's my-" She couldn't finish her sentence as Yennefer interrupted. "Lover?" she asked and Evelyn nodded. "Oh, how adorable. Two Witchers falling in love with each other." She smiled which Evelyn returned. "That's why you seemed so pissed." Yennefer chuckled. "Well, yes. We've been together for over a decade now and I protect what's mine." Evelyn said with an ironic smile. "Don't worry, Witcher. He's yours, I got that." Evelyn nodded. "Good, it's healthier for you." Evelyn got out of the water taking Yennefer by surprise. "What's the matter? Water not suit?" she asked as the other female left the room, still naked.

She returned to the room where the clothing and Geralt were. Geralt grinned at her dripping wet figure who reached for her clothing but the other Witcher snatched it away. Evelyn rolled her eyes. "Give it back." she demanded stretching out her arm. "No." he simply said and she huffed. She walked over at him, who sat in a chair and climbed halfway onto him and reached for the clothing which he still held away. Bending over his shoulder, what meant that now he had her exposed chest pressing onto his own. "Geralt." she warned him as only a few centimetres were missing. He chuckled and returned her clothing. "Thanks." she said and put them on.

In Yennefers chambers Jaskier laid on her bed, still in his healing sleep. "This is a little tight." Evelyn spoke to Yennefer as they entered the said room. I believe I sized you up quite right." she said and looked over the woman who was wearing tight black pants and an olive green, tight shirt that looked like a corset; being heart-shaped at the cleavage and no sleeves. Geralt kept his gaze on Evelyn's ass, as her pants were really tight and just a feast for the eyes.

Both, Evelyn and Geralt walked over to Jaskier. "Do you doubt my capabilities?" she asked but both shook their head. "No. Just your intentions." Geralt answered and Yennefer smiled. "I said some things to him. He's a-" he couldn't bring himself up to the word. "A friend?" Yennefer and Evelyn both asked. "I'd like it not be the last things he remembers." Geralt said and Evelyn smiled at him for just indirectly saying that Jaskier means something to him, that he is his friend. "He won't remember much if he's dead." She said and Evelyn turned at her with a raised brow but then a certain mage chuckled. "It's a joke. He will survive and recover his vocal talents. Does that satisfy you?"

"Not in the slightest." Geralt said. "But don't reproach yourself for it, Yennefer. I'm not easily satisfied." he said and then Yennefer looked at Evelyn with a smug look. Geralt looked around the room and found the seal of the djinn on her nightstand and a spell 'circle' surrounded by lit candles. "It's the sign from the seal." Geralt stated as the 'circle' had the same shape as the one on the vessel. "I'll be taking Jaskier now." He added. "If you wake him before he's healed, the spell won't take. That's no way to treat a friend, Geralt."

"You want the djinn." Geralt spoke and now stood next to Evelyn again. "But the amphora's broken. The djinn's already long gone." he finished his sentence. Yennefer put on some sort of oil on her hands and the fire on the candles grew, wind howling through the room. "Do go on. Tell me how stuff works. The djinn is tied to this place and its master. How many wishes did the bard express before he lost his voice?" she asked and Evelyn shook her head. "You need Jaskier to make his last wish so you can capture it." she said and sat next to Jaskier on the bed. "So that's two then."

"The djinn will fight you. If you try and bend it-" suddenly Geralt and Evelyn felt dizzy. Geralt inhaled the smell of what caused that. "That scent..." Evelyn started, focusing on not passing out. "Lilac and..." Yennefer approached them. "Gooseberries. Tough to get in your head. You both have a strong will, but you can't contend with me. Sorry, I couldn't be direct, I knew you guys would fight it." She walked over at Evelyn and kissed her what Evelyn refused to return. As Yennefer promised, she wouldn't lay hand on Geralt but she never said that about Evelyn. Geralt's eyes widen in shock as he felt dizzier and dizzier. "And I do love a good old-fashioned trap." Geralt's eyes almost fell shut. "A good old-fashioned... nap."
