Chapter 9- Friends

Next morning came in a bit of hurry and Jisoo's father has no clue how Taehyung is planning to play the cards. But he was pretty sure that Taehyung being Taehyung will not be a easy person to be handled. Jisoo's father was well aware when Taehyung made a promise he is going to fulfill and that was proved when he had that damn confidence while vowing. Ji-hoon is now little bit afraid thinking his plan to backfire. Though he is sure Jin is the best for Jisoo, he can't come to the conclusion to end the stupid vow Taehyung took to prove him wrong. Morning came unexpectedly fast, and he is now anxious whether to send Jisoo with Taehyung or not. So he came to the conclusion to drive Jisoo himself.

"Jisoo, from today onwards I am going to drive you to your college, okay?"

"But dad, I am fine going with Taehyung."

"No need. When I said you have to obey, is that clear?" Jisoo's father snapped at her, rather more harshly than expected. Jisoo's mother wondered about the sudden change of decision and mood.

"Mom, have you forgotten to give dad his pressure controlling pills?" Jisoo answered sarcastically rolling her eyes.

Jisoo didn't liked the idea of going to college with her dad but thought to play along and inform Taehyung that she is not going with him.

"Taehyung, from today onwards dad said he will give me a drive to college. So you can go."

"Uncle said that?"

"Yes." With that she went out to wait for her dad.

Taehyung irritated with the sudden change of decision went to Jisoo's father and shoved him to some corner of the room.

"Why did you do that?"

"I am keeping my daughter safe."

"Oh! So now I am the danger."

"No not the danger but..." Taehyung cut him off.

"Keep your explanation to yourself, uncle. Yesterday you promised me your friendship and now you are not acting on it. Wow!"

"Listen I might be your friend but I am her dad too."

"So what about your promise to me. And here I heard you keep promises, never back off. Sorry, I am wrong."

"Taehyung..."

"No uncle you said you will give me a chance and now you are backfiring. Why?"

"What do you suggest, then?"

Taehyung took his phone out and called one of his friend from Seoul.

"Hey what's up, Tae?"

"Just a small confusion, help me out."

"Shoot."

"I am in love with a girl and her father knows that, so he is dropping her off regularly. I want to take her, what would be your idea?"

"I would have called any of my friends and asked him to punchered the bike's tyre. Simple."

"And how uncle will go to office?"

"Will he host a flag in the office? No, right? So if he is late for oneday doesn't matters."

"Thanks friend, for the advice."

"Anytime."

With that Taehyung cut off the line and looked at Ji-hoon with his pleading eyes.

"A friend would have did that."

"This isn't right, Taehyung."

"You are my friend. Friends help each other."

Jisoo was called by her mother so she was not in the parking lot. Taking the advantage Taehyung and Jisoo's father approached the car and he himself punchered the tyre while Taehyung leaned against the car.

"You know what uncle, you are the best."

"Let's go, dad. I am running late." Jisoo came out and interrupted.

"Actually I didn't saw that the car punchered. So, Taehyung help me out and take Jisoo with you."

"Are you sure? I mean from tomorrow you are taking her with you, right?" Taehyung played innocent and smirked internally.

"Everyday I can't puncher my own car so yes I'll take her tomorrow." Jisoo's father snapped out.

"What?" Jisoo asked being utter confused.

"Nothing, dear. Be safe."

"Bye dad."

"Bye Jisoo."

"Don't forget me uncle. Bye." Then Taehyung secretly mouthed 'Bye friend.'

"Bye Taehyung." Jisoo's father smiled waving him back.

They drove off....

Days passed and Jisoo's father is impressed with how Taehyung tried to win Jisoo but she didn't gave a damn except a great friendship. Jisoo's dad felt proud of Jisoo that she is a strong girl and is resisting Taehyung's charm. Sometimes seeing Taehyung upset he also felt upset. While being friends with Taehyung he understood, that Taehyung is not only a caring person but also has a high respect for women's. Many things of Taehyung's character impressed Ji-hoon. But the only thing Ji-hoon didn't approved in Taehyung's character was his temper. Taehyung is a short tempered person and Jin is a person who takes everything coolly and never does any thing that involves the word 'Violence'.

Taehyung asked for many ideas from Ji-hoon as a friend but non of their plans worked infront of Jisoo. It is clear infront of Jisoo's father that Taehyung is trying unnecessarily cause nothing is gonna change.
