We Belong

Twisted Part Three

Here we are with part three of Twisted.

Part one dealt with story time and Millie's vision of something terrible happening to Finn. Later the group attends a Halloween party with Finn and Millie dressing up as Mulder and Scully from the X-Files. Fun and spooky high jinks ensue in a haunted house as the young lovers become separated from the group and have to find their own way out.

Afterwards they take pictures in iconic poses and Sadie notes something in Finn and Millie's body language that could be construed as intimate and scans the crowd to see if anyone notices,not noticing herself that someone already has and taking pictures of it. The night concludes and Finn and Millie rest together in bed.

Part two had our lovebirds having lunch with their siblings in a small cafe in downtown Demorest, where the Duffers have their trailer set for the cabin scenes they film for Season 4 as the old cabin is now used as a escape room on Sleepy Hollow Farms. They walk back to the trailer lot, Nick noting how warm it is for an early November day and Finn comments that they'll probably see a storm or two later in the evening.

After a little funny teasing by Paige, the pair head out to the ATV lot and ride off to a location that Finn has discovered and is eager to show to his girlfriend. Several miles later, he guides her to an island and then within the island is a tree with roots stretching down into crystal clear water. Beyond the hanging boughs is an open area and Finn lays out an outdoor blanket (yes, they do exist, the smooth side is water resistant and the other side is warm and soft) then tells he that this is his part of the losing bet. They proceed to have sex several times and then clean up after they're done before dressing.

Meanwhile Paige wakes up to an insistent beeping noise and grabs her phone, bolting upright when she reads the tornado watch. Heading out into the main room of the trailer, she realizes her sister isn't back yet and tries to call her, finding the younger girl's phone on the counter in the kitchen. Finn's phone is also in the trailer which means the two teens have no idea what's coming and Paige has no idea where they are.

Matt Duffer comes to tell them to get to the shelter and when told Finn and Millie aren't there and they don't know where they are, he tries to find out. The siblings of the co-stars follow and tornado sirens go off.

The wind picks up in violent bursts as the storm rolls in on them, rapidly intensifying and they take off, Millie tripping and spraining her ankle during the escape. Finn picks her up and races back to the ATVs, only to have a tree break and crash onto Millie's ATV. With the swirling mass starting to form and debris flying in the air and their path back to Demorest blocked, Finn hops onto his ATV with Millie laying sideways in front and drives off on the two track that will take them out onto the highway and towards the town of Evansville.

Hit by hail and debris by the massively building tornado roaring towards them, Finn reaches Evansville to find a place to shelter,choosing a garage due to the fact that business garages tend to have oil change pits. Scooping Millie up, Finn enters and lowers her down,glass exploding and cutting him up even more but he jumps down and they huddle in a small stock room within the pit to ride out the storm.

The tornado strikes obliterating everything in its path and Millie screams and prays, her face buried in Finn's neck, too terrified to watch the violent whirlwind. Finn, however, never takes his eyes off it and tightens his hold on Millie when the wind intensifies and tries to pull her away from him.

Eventually the tornado moves on and dissipates far from the town.Finn and Millie make their way up top and find themselves in a war zone as the whole town is decimated, with not one structure left intact and some having only the foundation remaining.
