Kim Soohyun-ssi:
Nasa Seoul na ‘ko.

Receiving a message from him before bedtime is totally a bad idea. Hindi ako makatulog, iniisip itong nararamdaman ko. 

It’s a good thing though that filming ended as soon as these feelings start, ‘cause his presence will stimulate my emotions. Soohyun-ssi around will distract me. Kanina nga lang, hindi na ako komportableng katabi siya.

Bakit ba kasi naramdaman ko pa ‘to? I’m certain from the start that we are platonic; I laughed at his bad jokes because I got used to it, I appreciated and did not give meaning to the little gestures he’s shown.

He gave me jackets every time we wrapped up, visited me in my room just to make me feel okay after having a long day, shares food—no, more like stealing my food, sang for me, danced with me, mocked me—all these are nothing but friendly until this.

Isang message lang galling sa kanya, kung saan saan na nakarating ang utak ko.

Kim Soohyun-ssi:
Tulog kana?

Halos sigawan ko siya nang mabasa ko ang message niyang iyon. Ano ‘to? Paasa? Sino iyong AZ kung ganito ka?
I almost argue with myself. Ganito naman talaga siya dati pero bakit ganito na ako makareact ngayon?

I went out to clear my thoughts, leaving my phone. Sinamahan ako ni Kyung-ah, assistant ko at ni Mikyung-eonni. It’s a good thing that eonni’s still awake, apparently, she wants to see the night view of Ayajin Beach.

“Can’t believe it’s done,” eonni says, resting her back on the chair. Inaya niya kaming magpicture para raw mainggit ang mga nagsiuwian na.

“Yeaji-eonni, okay ka lang ba? Parang lagi kang nag-sspace out? Sepanx?” tanong ni Kyung-ah.

Bumuntong hininga ako’t ininom ang kape, “I think so. I will miss this place.”

“Who wouldn’t?” tumawa si eonni at itinabi iyong phone. “Accepting this role is one of the best decisions I’ve made.”

“Me too,”

It’s Okay Not to Be Okay is my breakthrough, indeed. I gained recognitions and more projects are awaiting because of my role. Kim Soohyun-ssi did well enough to boost my acting skill—errr thoughts.

“Wah! Kinikilig talaga ako kapag napapanuod ko mga behind the scenes niyo,” maingay na sabi ni Kyung-ah sabay sapak pa sa braso ko. Lumapit si eonni rito para makinuod din sa pinapanuod niya.

“Masiyahin at ang bibo talaga ‘yang batang ‘yan kaya ang gaan pakisamahan, knowing that he’s the top paid actor,” Mikyung comments.

“Ah! Eonni tingnan mo sila magtinginan! Nakakakilig! Kung hindi ko lang siguro kilala ang dalawa talagang iisipin kong may something sa kanila.”

Shit, Kyung ah! Stop. Medyo… kinikilig na ako.

“He’s so good at acting that I can’t even decipher if his stares at you meant something or just for show, Yeaji-ah.”

She’s on-point but I’d like to think it’s the latter. Note that ‘I’d like’ because 70% of me hopes it meant something.

“I’ve seen his other BTS, Kim Soohyun-ssi doesn’t look flushed during interviews with his past leading ladies.”

Gah! Do I need to check it too?

“Ah! Eonni! Feeling ko crush ko na siya! Gwapo, magaling sumayaw, kumanta, may sense of humor! All checked yung list ko!” Kyung-ah added.

Karibal pa kita? Gusto mong mawalan ng trabaho?

“May girlfriend na yata ‘yan e,” they stop watching the video and look at me.

“Hindi naman yata bawal na magkacrush sa kanya kahit may girlfriend siya,” Kyung-ah pouts. “Halos lahat ng mga babae sa set kinikilig sa kanya. Sa’yo lang yata siya walang epekto sayo kaya laging ikaw ang pinagtitripan.”

“Ako kasi ang leading lady!”

“Pwede namang si Kyuyoung, si Hyewon ang parating asarin. Eonni, may gusto ba sayo yun?”

“Magaling lang talaga siyang umarte,” I defend. Half of me says, I wish.

“Tingnan mo, uwi-uwi tapos gustong bumalik dito,” pinakita sa akin ni Mikyung-eonni ang palitan nila ng mensahe ni Soohyun dahil sa sinned na picture namin kanina.

Soohyun:
Noona! May after party pa pala kayo.

Mikyung:
Sinusulit lang naming ang view. 
Agad ka kasing umalis. kkkkk

Soohyun:
Kung wala lang sched bukas, nagtagal pa sana ako jan. 
O talagang ni-timing niyong wala na ako para walang maingay? 

Mikyung:
Ikaw nga pinag-uusapan namin dito at ng girlfriend mo.

Wow, eonni gaano po katapang?

Soohyun:
Hehehehe.

“Ay, eonni. Confirm. May girlfriend ‘yan!” sabi sa amin ni Kyung-ah nang mabasa ang tipid na niyang reply, he neither denied nor affirm. “That’s synonymous to ‘no comment’ which is indirectly saying ‘may jowa ako’. Isa pa, I think sila pa ni Ahn Zoe. Remember? Their dating scandal five years ago? That’s huge.”

“Natatandaan ko nga! May balita pa na ikakasal sila way back 2016? 17ish? But they denied the rumors,” Mikyung-eonni snaps.

“I think there is something that might be true. There will be no smoke if there’s no fire,” my assistant concluded.
