Robert's POV
We all sat at the malt shop enjoying our malts and fries, "Alright everyone I would like to pose to you all the question of all questions." Fred said. "Uh-oh." I said. "Never good when you say that Freddie." Alli said. He looked at the two of us, "What's next for Mystery Inc?" Fred asked. "Ooh I totally have the answer." Shaggy was saying. "Lunch." Jaeden said. "No Shag, Jae I think what Fred means is that...." Alli was saying. "I was also gonna say lunch." Scooby said.
"Guys, guys, guys the Mystery Machine needs a whole new....." Fred was saying. "Everything?" I asked him. "Yes it needs a whole new everything and I'm never gonna get that smell out." Fred said. "I told you I needed a walk." Scooby said. "It's time to turn Mystery Inc into a real business." Velma said. "What do you mean like carry a briefcase, wear a tie and pay taxes!" Shaggy exclaimed. "You don't pay your taxes?" I asked. "I handle our accounting." Scooby said. Shaggy pointed at Scoob, "Look we're ready to take on bigger cases, scarier villains, and creepier mysteries but that takes money." Velma said. "Fortunately Robert and I may have found a possible investor." Alli said.
"Oh whoopee a diner. I'll have a napkin and some hand sanitizer." Simon Cowell said sitting down. "Whoa man like it's Simon Cowell." Shaggy said excited. "Oh god." Alli and I said. "Guys, guys." Jaeden was saying. "In the shallow, in the shallow." Both Scoob and Shag sang. "I'm off the deep end watch as I dive in." Shaggy sang off key. "Uh congratulations, gentlemen you are terrible." Simon said. They both looked hurt, "How does he do that? See he's mean but he makes it fun." Fred said wrapping an arm around me. "We appreciate your interest in Mystery Inc. Mr Cowell." Alli said. "Every successful group requires hard work and determination. Identify potential is what I do and you have got it." Simon said.
"Fred you're the tank, the muscle." "Cool." Fred said. "Alli you're the hero saving the day." Simon said. "Thanks." Alli said smiling. "Daphne is the people person, the empath." "Aw." "Vema's the brains." Velma adjusted her glasses. "Robert's tech savvy." "Awesome." I said. "And Jaeden's the innocent of the group." Simon said. "I am?" Jaeden asked in an innocent way. "You don't realize it but you are which makes you innocent." Simon said. "Aw thanks Mr. Cowell." Jaeden said.
"But you two aren't even listening, you're eating a clownishly oversized sandwich." Simon said looking at Shag and Scoob. We looked at the two, "Like sorry man you lost us at hard work and determination." Shaggy said. "But you got us back at sandwich." Scooby said. Me and Alli laughed, "Look a group can only be as strong as its weakest links bottom line I can't invest with these two involved." Simon said. "But Mr. Cowell Shaggy and Scooby are our best friends." Alli said. "Yeah and like what's more valuable than friendship?" Shaggy asked. "Literally anything." Simon said. Alli and I looked at Scoob and Shag, "You can't count on friendship people change and when you get into real trouble friendship won't save the day." Simon said.
"Like we don't need this Scooby let's bounce." Shaggy said as they got up. "Reah we know when we're not wanted." Scooby said. "No." Daphne said. "Wait." Fred said. "Come on guys." Jaeden said. "He didn't mean it." Velma said. Scooby walked back grabbing the fries, "No fries for you." He said walking out. "We'll go talk to them." Alli said. "Shag, Scoob wait up!" I called as we ran outside.
"Like what do you two want shouldn't you be in there?" Shaggy asked. "No Shaggy we're your best friends." Alli said. "And friends stay together." I said. He looked at the two of us, "Yeah sure you two friends." Shaggy said, smirking. "What's that mean?" We asked. "You know what it means anyway, bowling alley tonight." Shaggy said. "We'll be there." We said. Alli and I walked another way the two of us smiling at one another, "Are we being obvious?" I asked. "What that we're dating no, no way are we okay maybe a little bit." She said. "We'll have to tone it down, don't want your dad coming after me." I said. "He won't hurt you and you know it." Alli said holding my hand as we walked home.
