Hey everyone! Better late than never right? I made up of for my lack of updates by posting a chapter that should really be split into two 'cause it's so long lol. Unfortunately, the next chapter likely won't be up until May as my schedule is incredibly busy. Fear not, I will keep working away at this story though!

How's everyone coping with quarantining?

"No, no, they will definitely like you."

"But they don't really like meeting new people?"

"Yeah exactly," she nods her head.

"Wow," I deadpan. "That makes me feel great."

"Oh, come on!" She whines exasperated. "You'll be fine. Besides, they have to like you 'cause you are the future Luna."

I sigh, shaking my head. "But I don't want your parents to like me just because of a future title."

As Rave and I prep ourselves for the dinner with her and Rafael's parents we lightly converse. Well, up until she decided to spring the fact that her parents are not very fond of strangers. And I'm a stranger.

Sue me, I don't have the best experience with parents.

We didn't go overboard with our hair and make up, but enough to show that we made an effort to look nicer. I have mascara on to accentuate my blue eyes and a light layer of makeup powdered on to hide any blemishes. Paired with this I'm wearing a denim jacket on top of a peach coloured tank top, and to finish off the outfit I'm wearing black leggings so that even if Rave's parents don't like me at least I'm comfortable.

After collecting the essentials the two of us leave the pack house. Because Rafael and Ronin are going to be arriving last minute to this dinner they are not joining us on the trek over. For the past few days they have been away attending to some pack matters at a neighbouring pack. Even though Rave kept me busy I still missed seeing my wolf.

"Just don't let them think they are getting to you," Rave continues her lecture of 'how to get parents who don't like you to like you' as we walk. "If you're cool and collected then they will be impressed and therefore like you even more than they already will."

"If you say so." I just nod along as her talking distracts me from my nerves.

Rave's childhood house is closer than I wished it was. Only a few minutes later and we are crossing the threshold of the front door. I can sense that Rave is happy to be back, most likely fond memories lay between these walls.

"Ravine is that you?" A woman's voice with a thick accent is easily heard from the door.

I see Rave roll her eyes, presumably regarding her despised name. "Yes mom, it's me. Harper is here too."

All I hear is some rapid Spanish before a woman with rich brown hair pops out from around the corner. Her and Rave both share the same dark chocolate eyes as well as the same perfectly straight nose that everyone wishes for.

"Oi! Al, come see your hija and her friend."

On cue a tall man who is almost a replica to Rave comes to greet us. I had thought she looked like her mother but clearly I was wrong. Her father's hair colour is an exact replication, along with his eyes mouth and nose. Even just how he holds himself, it's as if he is confident and serious yet still very humorous and playful.

"Hey Dad," Rave hugs her father after pulling out of her mother's embrace. "This is Harper-"

"¿Ella sabe acerca de-"
