People have their dreams and aspirations. People's goals and aspirations keep people alive and motivated. There are so many things that Salma has accomplished, but they were never her own goals or her dreams. They were her parents and that made her miserable because they made her dreams seem like they were nothing. Salma used to think that being the best actor was very important, but then she realized she didn't care if everyone favored her, she just wanted to be in the spotlight, she wanted to shine on her own.

Salma held a picture of her inspiration, Patrick Swayze. It was an old cut out of a magazine she had when she was a child. It was from his Ghost Era. Even though her parents demolished her room with her pictures of all of her favorite 80s and 90s heartthrobs, she held onto that picture. It was in her backpack when she went to school, it would be in her jacket pocket, and in her purse when she would go to work. That day when she casually bumped into him in a McDonald's really never left her mind either, his words always rang in her head almost every single day.

Sometimes, not a acting on her on dreams would make her sick because she could have worked and practiced so hard instead of listening to her parents. She could have been the person she wanted to be.

But everything doesn't work out for everyone.

Salma sat quietly on the couch in the living room, her eyes clenching the script that she studied so hard. Her year started off so great, she got into five local plays but her parts weren't so important, she was still in the background. It felt like she was an extra. She didn't know because if she wasn't that talented, too dark for some of the parts or she just couldn't sing. Salma thought maybe two of those things were true but she could sing really well, it was broadway steady. Salma decides to just to not stress herself out and just relax her mind even though she wanted to pull her hair out.

The seldom woman went upstairs to her bedroom and decided to make herself a nice bubble bath. She quickly filled up the tub with water and soap suds, She stripped out of her clothes and she tied up her hair, she got into the tub and she turned on the TV that they had in their bathroom. Dirty Dancing played and Salma felt herself relax a little but her mind couldn't help but think about how much of a failure she was to herself, most of all to Patrick.

"We're home!" Salma hears the boys yell from downstairs.

Augustus took the boys to a baseball game because Dowen was a Mets fan and Mickey just wanted to go because he heard there were fireworks after the baseball game.

Salma hears the little paddles of feet against the marble floor, little knocks come from the bathroom and she recognizes the little knocks. She knew it was for sure Mickey and Salma smiled immediately, the little boy always seemed to bring her so much joy just by being in her presence. "Come in." Salma says and the bathroom door opens. Mickey comes in and he smiles as he looks at his Mom, surrounded by a lot of bubbles. "Momma, I had so much fun. There were fireworks." Mickey smiles and he walks up to the tub and Salma smiles. "I'm glad you had so much fun." Salma smiled and Mickey looked at all the bubbles, he suddenly pouted. "I want to get in... can I get in?" Mickey begged and Salma chuckled because she knew he was going to want to join her in what seemed like a fun bath.

This wasn't the only time that he joined her in her baths, Mickey loved bubble baths so much that he couldn't help but join her. "Yes, I don't ever say no to you." Salma laughed and Mickey started taking his clothes, rushing because he was so happy and excited. "Slow down, the bubbles aren't going anywhere." Salma tells him and Mickey takes the rest of his clothes and gets into the tub.

Augustus comes into the bathroom and he looks at the two in the bath full of bubbles. Augustus softly smiled because he enjoyed the sight. "You two and your bubble baths." Augustus says and Mickey starts putting bubbles in his hair and he nodded. "I want to live in a bubble house when I'm big." Mickey says and Augustus sits down near the tub and he strokes Salma's hair. "How did it go?" Augustus questions her softly and Salma looks down for a moment, she lets out a shaky exhale. "I didn't get in but it's okay because this is my last time that I'll audition for anything else. I think it's best that I just focus on taking care of the boys and being a mother which is also another one of my dreams." Salma smiled sadly at the end and Augustus honestly was in disbelief.
