When he got the hail from Biana he felt nothing. He realized why. The words had not yet settled into his brain,
"Sophie is going with the ability reset."
A darkness settled in to him. It occurred to him that through if it didn't work he might never see her again.... No. Elwin and Livvy know what they're doing. He just had to be there for her, to let her lean on him.
He knew she was never good at that. At deeming herself not worth it. But she was. All of it. All he can do was be there for her and show her that he was helping by NOT being angry.
He worked on it to keep his... Feelings in check.
Right now all that matters is Sophie.
