Thomas lay Newt on a bed and knelt down next to him glancing down at his wounded leg. Suddenly, two med-jacks burst in demanding they be told what happened. Thomas explained again what had happened inside the maze. Both med-jacks looked stunned at the story but quickly got to work. "It looks like a broken leg, nothing serious. He'll be fine. He just needs to rest" said one of the med-jacks calmly. Thomas was relieved, his friend was alive. But why did he jump? Why would Newt do such a thing? Thomas lay down on the bed next to him, resting his eyes and slowly drifting off into a deep sleep.
