Chapter One

Alexis, short for Alex is a girl like no other to anyone's eyes, she is the most beautiful girl anyone could imagine to be. 💁🏼But they say with beauty there comes a price to pay.
She could see everyone staring at her. It was a new day at school. It had been the mid of semester. She was frustrated, it was the third time she had switched school, here she was in Phoenix, Arizona the hottest place on earth, it rarely rained. 😨 But as she stood at the entrance of the school "Northern Heights", she could feel cold winds blowing around her, 'Not again' she thought. It would be another day for her to try to skip away from anyone's touch. Weird right ! But this was just the beginning. 😉

Alexis' POV :
I'm just so lazy to start this all over again!!!! 😓 Ugghh! I hate changing schools. And guess which period is have ... MATH. Great way to start an amazing day! 😑I tried hard to concentrate on what Mr Harvy 👦🏽 was trying to explain on the board. Again there was a gush of cold wind which brushed past me. Okay. Okay ! I'm not talking about the weather, it's just my story *sigh* MY STORY !!!! 😏
The Bell rang !!!!! Woohhoo !!! Time for everyone to go out and I sit like a dumb duck waiting for them to move. 😒 I got irritated since these kids were taking quit long. I'm trying hard not to brush past them. I'm not self-conscious it's just ......... Aaahhhhh 😥

At the Cafeteria.
Josh's POV :
Ahhhh ! It had been a tough day. 😖 We had finished our soccer practice, my friend Ryan was as usual flirting with the girls, you know using his one liners 😸 . And everyone was gossiping about The Mysterious New Girl, I wonder how she is ?? 😚😚 I was just getting up to do a stretch, that I didn't realise I had just bumped into someone. Books went flying everywhere and my tiredness had just vanished. 😦😝

Alexis' POV :
It had been a wonderful day until I bumped into someone 😪 and suddenly I felt so freaking tired as if I ran miles, running away from a monster 👹. The guy was looking at me quite surprised. At first I thought I was the new girl so everyone was staring at me, then the feeling of realisation came.
Oh no!!!! What have I done ?? I took away all his pain (Surprise, surprise, that is my secret) 😅 but looking at the books scatter I didn't have the strength to pick them up. The boy must have realised the same and started helping me out and gave the books in my hand. The cafeteria which had once been noisy now came to a standstill. I heard some ooh's and ahh's. I just got so embarrassed and guess what I did ?? With all my pride and strength I just ran from there. Okay fine I accept it I'm a COWARD. I should have at least muttered a sorry or a thank you !! Damn, 😔 such a idiot I am. I can't take school anymore. Time to go home !! Don't judge me. It's been a rough day. 😄 It's time for some coffee !! ☕️
