"He kissed you?" Toby asked in shock, I nodded my head, "Vie I'm so happy for you" I smiled at him, "So are you two, like dating?" I fell back onto my bed, "I don't know Toby, we haven't made anything official yet, so no" "I'll talk to him" "and say what?" "I'll tell him to be a man about it" I let out a soft laugh.

"fuck, Toby I'm so confused" I spoke, sitting back up looking at the brown-haired boy, "why, about what?" "because, this is such a strong feeling like I've never felt like this before, ever" "well , maybe it's because you're in love with him" he suggested, I fell silent for a moment, "I am, aren't I?" I said softly, "it's not a bad thing Violet" "but it's not a good thing either, love doesn't last".

Once I found out about my parent's divorce, it crushed me in more ways than the one. The idea of love and being in love with someone seemed fun and a beautiful thing, but it also frightened me. You're giving so much of yourself to someone and just hoping that it goes well, and from what I've seen, it doesn't go well.

"Why not?" Toby questioned, "my parents wherein love, they didn't last. I don't want to end up like that" "some people think they're in love, but they're not. I've seen how you and Tommy are, Vie it's painfully obvious that you two love each other".

"Well, then what do I do about it?" "say something, tell him" I shook my head, "no way" "why? he's not gonna know how you're feeling unless you say something about it, he can't guess" I knew Toby was right.

"I'm scared" I said honestly. "You can either keep it in and just never say anything but long for something more, or tell him and see where it goes. We're only here for two more days" he explained to me.

The fact that the week was almost over hurt so badly. I've felt better this week then I have in months. "Later tonight once I leave, tell him" Toby insisted, I let out a deep sigh, "fine, I'll tell him"
