Two months later...

Rose pov 

I sighed in frustration, putting down the papers on the table. It been two months after I put (Y/n) in a slumber of dreams. 'Speaking of her...' I go up from my desk and started to head towards my throne room. 'I'll worry about the plans later. I need a fucking break of all those migraines I'm having right now.' I rubbed my eyes with my palm while thinking how those pesty heroes are stopping my plans of taking over the world. You know who I'm referring to readers! I pushed the giant doors that leads to my throne room. I smiled, just admiring the details I put in this peculiar room. I skipped my way to my throne; right next to it was the purple bubble. I didn't have it around me today because I was mostly out of the castle. Stupid idea of mine I know, but I didn't want those heroes stealing her away from me. I was mostly causing attacks in major cities including the G.U.N. headquarters. Between destroying buildings and killing soldiers, I was attack by either Sonic, Silver, Shadow and you know the rest. They were a challenge yes but I knew each one's weakness. One by one were defeated by me, but using most of the phantom ruby's powers made me tired. That is why I mostly escape or retreat in matter of defeating all them. I sat down on my throne, my hand grabbing my chest. 'This power is incredible!' The power floating inside me is when you know that the phantom ruby is ready to be used again.  I felt so much power that I didn't notice I was having company coming over to the island. That was when I heard explosions and footsteps getting near the throne room giant doors. I smiled, 'So they're the one's to come to me now. This should go well for me then.' I sat comfortably, both arms on the arm rests, my leg cross the other, and both mine and their's weakness is right beside me. The door burst opened, 'Let the final battle begin!'

Sonic pov

I spin dash to the giant doors, forcefully opening both. I landed on my feet and looked up to see Rose sitting on her throne. Shadow and Infinite were right behind me. "Let go of (Y/n) now Rose", I pointed at the purple bubble that is next to Rose. She smiled, "What makes you think I'll just give up on her? I know she's my weakness you dumb blue hedgehog!" Shadow passed by me and went towards (Y/n). Rose reach her arm out, her hand reaching at the purple bubble. She slowly closing her hand and the purple bubble slowly starts to crack. "Take another step Shadow and all make sure you'll be the one to see her dying in front of you", Shadow stopped and looked at Rose. She used her other hand to grab Shadow and throw him towards me. I moved out of the way and saw Shadow stopping himself before hitting the wall. "Sonic~", I turned around to see Rose floating off her throne, "Remember what happened before". I felt my back shiver, "You can't hurt her!", I yelled at her. "Have Amy explained why she done it? Has (Y/n) told you?", Rose's feet touches the ground, "Do you remember what happened?" I opened my mouth but froze. I couldn't talk. I couldn't speak. Help--

Shadow pov

I looked up to see Sonic not moving anymore. "Shadow~", I heard Rose sing out. I saw her walking towards me but Infinite went between us. He threw a punch at her, "Give me the--", she swipe her hand in the left direction in the air making Infinite be thrown at that direction. He hit the pillar and felled down onto the floor. I ran up to her but stopped, her eyes were in front of mine. "It's your fault that she's in that bubble you know", she grabs my neck and lifts me off the ground. I gasp for air, "I'm not--", I took a breath in. "Giving up? That's what (Y/n) said to me when she was looking for a way  to bring back Maria", Rose smirked. My eyes widened, "Don't--AH!", she gripped hard. "Don't like me mentioning Maria? Or you don't like to mention that you knew (Y/n) had the phantom ruby all along?", she spoke softly. 'They weren't lying on her knowing everything about that specific person.' "She was going to use the phantom ruby to make a illusion of Maria. However, she scratched that idea when she didn't know how to use the phantom ruby. She thought of another though. The reason why we're here today. She tried to use it to spawn her back to life", Rose was explaining what (Y/n) was doing with the phantom ruby. She let go my neck but I couldn't move at all. I couldn't speak either. What's going on--
