Louis laid in bed. His eyes were bloodshot, he didn't know if it was from the drugs or just crying in general. He can't remember what he did wrong for them to leave.

When Zayn left, Louis' heart shattered. He left without a goodbye. It was sad. Really, Zayn was the only person he could talk to about his struggles but now... where is he?

One Direction hiatus was only supposed to be a year then it was two years, then three, five, now it's forever. Louis loved being in One Direction but now it's gone. Harry didn't want to come back first, later Niall gained the same idea then it was Liam's turn to leave. Louis was left alone, lost and abandoned. They did stay in contact with one another they really did. But everyone just got so busy that they lost touch.

When Liam called Louis saying that One Direction was over, Louis pretended to be okay over the phone but once the call went silent Louis lost it. Throwing and smashing everything around him. He grabbed a full bottle of beer and chugged it down to the last drop. Louis was heartbroken and completely alone.

Louis reached over to his bedside table and grabbed a stray cigarette placing it between his lips, lighting the tip with a grimy lighter.

He took a deep inhale of the toxic smoke not caring anymore what damage it was making.

He remembers the last time he saw Harry, his best friend. It was two years ago and Louis wanted to surprise him on his set of Dunkirk. He snuck up behind Harry using his hands to cover his eyes.

"Guess who" Louis say. Harry smiled at the voice and turned around hugging Louis instantly.

"Louis Oh My God, so good to see you mate" he smiled.

"Do you wanna hang out later?" Louis asked.

"Yeah, yeah of course Lou" he agreed.

"I just gotta finish up on this scene. You just wait here I'll be right back" Harry cheered excited to see Louis. Harry was called back by his fellow actors and Harry waved to Louis, mouthing he'll be back soon...

He wasn't.

Louis waited for hours for Harry to show up, only to be wiping away stay tears from his eyes. He gave up and walked home alone. With his hood up Louis stayed looking at the ground.

He was walking on the bridge when he decided to stop and look out at the water and the night sky. It was quite peaceful only to be interrupted by his phone ringing. It was Harry. He answered the phone not really caring what he has to say.

"Louis! I am so sorry, I just forgot-" Louis was expressionless and hung up the phone cutting Harry off. One more deep breath Louis threw his phone faraway into the water, returning to his state of starting at the night sky.

His cigarette is shorter now and Lou is feeling hungry but he can't gain the strength to leave his bed that sometimes felt like a coffin.

Louis smiled at the smoke clouding the air. 'Is this really how my life is going to be from now on?'
