O L I V I A P O V

It's a blustery night with heavy snow falling, making visibility virtually impossible to make out where the road is. Travelling along a dark dense road that no one uses can understand why now. Nothing but the wilderness surrounds you, giving you that eerily feeling. Caused the fibres on the back of your neck to rise.

I've been travelling on this road for over two hours, not encountered one car or any signposts to suggest where I am. My car commences to slow down right on a lengthy stretch of road which is already covered in snow that seems to just carry on. Pulled over, striking the verge just a little too hard, causing my car to die on me. "That's great..." I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, gazing at my phone, no signal.

Lean my head on the driver door window, wishing I could be on the beach right now, soaking up the sun. But instead, I'm on my way to a remote town, I've never heard of, for a job interview. Thinking of my friends having fun on the beach while they take leave from their everyday lives. Poor me, stranded in the middle of the wilderness, with my mind playing tricks on me. No lights, just pure darkness, with the snow still falling fast, causing it near impossible to even catch sight of anything.

Take a deep breath, close my eyes for a few seconds. Overheard a noise of crunching branches, which echoed and got my attention. My entire body is trembling with fear, wishing for whatever caused the noise to go away. Glanced around to observe nothing, but complete darkness, in every direction. It's too fucking dark. The trees are dense, causing my mind to run away with images of some guy running at my car taking me. Watched too many horror movies that's my problem.

Glimpsed ahead of me and turned the lights on to catch a shadow further down the road. Notice a flashlight coming towards the direction of my car. They're slow, almost like dragging their leg. Locked all the doors and gazed back to the direction of the flashlight and identified a trail of blood behind him. He collapses on the front of my car, causing me scream, and rolls to the floor.

Shake my head, telling myself not to leave the car. Tried to follow what my gut is convincing me, but I don't listen to myself. Unlocked the door nervously get out bend down to examine his leg bleeding really badly. He's a tall, heavy guy built with muscle, and I tried with all my strength to get him in the back of the car. Which I manage with a struggle, after almost breaking my back in the process.

He's out cold, presumably from losing too much blood. Opened my case, which is on the passenger seat, to find the belt to put around his leg to stop the breeding. He's breathing heavily, moaning with pain is all I could determine to why he would be moaning. Not knowing what else to do but wait to discover if he wakes so I could try to help, but part of me is petrified to death, terrified.

Not knowing who this guy is or how he became injured. Stared at him. He looks cute. Shake my head thinking a guy who looks like him wouldn't give me a time of day plus he must be in his mid-twenties with a stubble his hair is short messy looks dark from what I can make out the light is not brilliant.

Sit in the driver seat staring at him he moves while moaning, and clutches at his leg. "If you do that, you will make it bleed again." His eyes open, revealing his white orbs while he glared at me. He tries sitting up leans his head on the back door.

"Where the hell am I?" His voice is deep husky almost to a point of making me feel cold, which it is cold. Gazed over at him, he places his hand on his wounded leg. "Look mate, I have no idea where we are my car decided to die on me. I've been on this road for over two hours not come across one car or any houses." He stares at me still struggling to get himself comfortable.

"If this is near where my cabin is there should be a dirt track about a mile down the road on the right." Grin at him with amusement. Wonder why the hell he is out here if he had a cabin. "It's another two miles long that dirt track." Something smells a little dubious about this guy. "Just say we made it to your cabin. Would there be a phone there?" He nods pulls himself up to open the door. "Well, have a nice journey." Telling him while he opens the door, he shoots me a glance.
