CHAPTER THIRTEEN

O L I V I A   P O V

Back at my dorm room after being kidnapped by Mikail. I'm not impressed with everything he had told me. Surely there is a blimp in the universe? No understanding of any of it. Am I in the actual world? Or in the fantasy world? Keep asking myself the same question over and over and still have no genuine answers.

And another thing, why the hell would he want to meet my parents? What is that going to achieve in the long run? Placed the pillow over my head wanted to sleep but I can't with having him here. My life is complicated enough without adding more stress to it. Couldn't care less if there is another pack here to kill me.

Slide from the bed to have a shower and brush my teeth. Throw some clothes on, grab a quick breakfast, and leave for my first lecture. Not looking forward to the day's events. If I just stay away from Mikail and not fall for his charm, I will get through the day with ease.

Strolled along the path to the double doors when the newbies show up. Shake my head, not wanting to take any notice of them. "He's not here to protect." One guy said. Walk passed them they stand in my way not letting me pass. "Did you hear what I said?" He spits, leans towards me, touching my hair. Smiled at him.

He turns to look at his pack. "Do you smell that?" He says, looking back at me. "She is fearful." They laugh and step back outta my way. Not even breathing a word to them I walk in through the door to make my way to the lecture room.

Sit to take my book out when the newbies walk in to sit behind me. Fear had consumed me. But I had felt like this before when I had the creature stalking me. The professor steps into the room get right on with his lecture. Glad when the class ended.

When lunchtime arrived, I sit in the picnic area engrossed in my book. "Olivia." Look up to see Mikail staring at me. Shake my head. "Can't you just leave me alone?" I shout and everyone looks over at us. He shrugs his shoulders. "No, I can't." Close my eyes for a few seconds. He sits beside me. Stand to gather my books to leave when he grabs my hand.

Pull my hand from him to walk away back to my dorm. But he follows. "Mikail, there are plenty of other girls here you could indulge in." All the girls in the dorm look right at him licking their lips. "I'm here for you. I don't want anyone else." "Please I'm pleading with you to leave me alone?" I just want him to leave. "Are you sure that is what you want?" Nodding at him he turns to walk away.

Open my door to my room, kick it closed and lock it. Sit on the bed and cry. I'm losing my mind, can't cope with all this and the fantasy. I need to leave and go far away as possible. It's making me a nervous wreck. Laid on my bed curled into a ball crying.

It's been a week since I told Mikail to stay away from me. He's still in my classes but sits far from me with a few other girls. My eyes don't even look at him, but I can always feel him staring at me. The lecture finishes stand to leave when a guy approaches me. "Hey, Olivia. Want to know if you are up to studying?" Look at Nyles while we exit the room. "Yeah, sure. When?" "Now if you want?" Smiled and nod.

We stroll over to the picnic area to sit to study. We had our books out talking about class. Could see Mikail slowly stroll past. Something told me he was listening to what we are talking about. That is one of his many gifts. Plus, he had a good sense of smell and eyesight too. Glanced over to where he stood. He stares at me, not impressed. He steps over to me.

He glances at Nyles and back at me. "We need to talk." Shake my head. "Nyles give me five minutes." Couldn't believe he had the nerve to ask Nyles to leave. Stood to grab his hand. "Nyles, sit. I will be right back." He gulps and sits back down. Mikail is smiling with what I had said.
