CHAPTER ELEVEN

O L I V I A    P O V

The summer break is over I'm on my way back to college. Hope to see all my friends and have a catch up from what they have been up to. I'm still sketched out with what happened almost a year ago. Can't believe what happened to me. Arrive at College make my way to the dorm room with my case before signing in.

Watched the others arrive to start a new College year. This year I had the dorm room to myself. Glad I had the room to myself for once, not worrying about some other girl sharing with me. This is my last year here, so I'm making the most of it. Make my way to the office to sign in. Approach the office to see a few newbies enrolling. Wait for them to finish before signing in.

When they were done, they looked at me while walking away to exit the building. Thought how strange they watched me with their eyes gazing straight at me. Didn't take any notice of them at all and carried on. Enter my dorm room to relax on my bed. Stare at the ceiling with my hands behind my head, thinking back to the guy who changed form, the guy who changed the way my mind functions. Could not come to terms if it were real or my mind playing tricks on me.

Roll to my side, stare at the door, watching the shadows from beneath the small gap at the bottom of the door walk past. I'm on the side where it was only girls allowed. The guys had their own dorm on the other side of the College. Couldn't wait for the night to end. Had a shower got into bed to fall asleep.

I'm up showered dressed when the alarm went off. Got ready to start my day in my first lecture. Arrive at my History class to see some of the newbies from the day before staring at me. Their eyes burning through me. Took no notice of them trying to shake the feeling. Took notes from the Professor plus it was an interesting lecture.

Made my way to my next lecture which is English. Take my seat to wait for the Professor. I'm engrossed in my book not taking notice of the people around me or who is sitting beside me. Had a feeling I'm being watched. Looked up to see the Professor who is staring at me. "Olivia, I asked you a question?" He says. Shrug my shoulders. Hear a voice in my ear. "He asked what you thought about the English law" Close my eyes from recognising the voice.

Turn to my left to see the guy that I had helped. He smiles. Shake my head at him. "What the hell. You are not real." I whisper to him. "I'm real. Very real." He said and his lips descend to mine. I heard a few gasps from the others sitting in the lecture. The professor coughs to get our attention. Smiled down at him. Could not believe this guy is here sitting next to me.

I'm confused to why he is here. He looks deep in my eyes. My eyes trailed down to the professor. "The English law could do with being rewritten. Make it modern." My response is just an impulse. Not sure what to say with my mind running away into a fantasy. The guy is sitting next to me. The guy who could transform into a wolf. Rub my face not sure if this is really happening to me.

When the class finished, he took my hand. We walked out the door together with people staring at us. He didn't take any notice at all. I wanted answers to why he is here. We are sitting outside in the picnic area where the girls are watching him intently. This guy is sexy and well put together. Nothing like the other guys that are here. He places his arm around me. I take his arm from me to stand up. "What the hell are you doing here?" I ask him. He takes my hands in his pulls me towards him. So many people watching us. I grabbed him to walk away from prying eyes.

We stood away from everyone. "I can hear what they are saying about you," He tells me. Shake my head not wanting to know. "I can hear two guys talking about you." Rub my face didn't want to know what he could hear. "One wants to bed you. That is not happening." Pulled on his hand not believing what he is saying to me. I still want my answer. "Tell me why you are here?" He smiles snakes his arms around me. We had a few people walk past staring at us.

Stare into his beautiful blue eyes, his smile is sweet. "You are in danger," He tells me. Rest my head on his chest with thoughts of what we had done. He lifts my chin. "I had to come. You need protecting. There is another pack here." Couldn't soak in what he is telling me. Looked around to see people watching us. "My entire pack are here to protect you. We owe you that much." His lips get closer to mine. "I have missed you too." We kissed, his hands firmly on my ass squeezing wanting me to jump to wrap my legs around him.

Lose myself into his kiss with my legs wrapped tight around him. If what he said is true, put fear into me again, but why here? with so many people around to be witnesses. My mind once again is returning to the world of fantasy, I have no way of controlling what my thoughts are. His arms wrapped around me is sending mixed emotions to my body. I wanted him, want him so badly but this is not real. Will my nightmare ever finish? Please just let me live my life, let me be normal.

He cups my cheeks. "You need to be protected. That is why I'm here with Sapphire, Opal and Otis plus the others". Smiled at him. "I don't even know your name." Not once did he tell me his name or even mention it to me or hear the others call him. His smile gets wide. "Mikail". His hands are still cupping my cheeks. "Now you know who I am." He kisses me long and hard making sure I don't forget who he is. He took me by surprise. We head back to where everyone is stood watching us. He claps his fingers with mine walks past everyone staring making our way to the next lecture.

Not sure what reality is anymore. Whenever he is around, makes me confused to what day it is or where I am. Know he said he is here to protect me. How would he do that in his human form? I have no idea. His touch is mixing up what I feel is real and what is not. I need to figure out who is threatening me. I lived a nightmare before with a creature stalking me like I was its live bait. Now I'm going through it again. We reach the next class to take our seats. Sapphire strolls in the door takes a seat. She smiles at us while she steps past us to sit behind. Wanted the day to be over so he could tell me more with what is going on.

Could not concentrate on what the professor is saying. My mind focusing on what happened at the Cabin in the woods. The fear I felt at the time sweeps through my body, my heart racing almost coming outta my chest. Mikail places his hand on mine to ease my mind. "You need to learn to slow your heart down." The same words he would always say to me when we were in the Cabin. Still have not mastered how to slow my heart down.

The lecture finished so did my day. We sit eating dinner in a small cafe near the College. Sapphire, Opal and Otis joined us. It didn't matter where we went, we had people staring. Mikail and his pack are different from the regular people around here. Mikail is a good-looking guy who is outta my league. I knew from the first time my eyes laid on him he was outta my league. He is a guy full of sex appeal. Built like a tank. His eyes are luring change colour with his mood. He's a guy that girls drool over just wanting to see what is beneath his clothes, which is a body that is outta this world. I have seen him naked and boy he is some gift plus he is a creature that is beautiful and feared.

Him being here this close to me makes me doubt the fantasy that swirls in my head. I know he keeps telling me it is very real, but I still have that doubt. How the hell can a human transform into a wolf? I have no logical explanation for how or why. I'm insane that is the only logic I can come up with. Hope this dream is not a nightmare like the last one?
